The Lodge Luxury Suites

Great place to stay! Close enough to walk into Houghton over the lift bridge. Bed was so comfortable, bathroom was wonderful, able to make waffles and have coffee in their lounge, staff was so kind and friendly. Already booked our next stay!

we stayed in the eastwood suite, it was wonderful, it is street side so if you are a light sleeper, you can hear cars sometimes when theyre reving, but we had NO problems sleeping with the adjustable bed, it was so comfortable and nice to sit and watch tv with.
spacious!!! could do cartwheels!

kitchen was fully equipped, useable and if i really had to complain, my only ask would throw in some salt and pepper or a spice, but thats so dumb to complain about, all is super readily available with in the area.

staff was beyond wonderful, making sure we were comfortable and always making sure if we needed anything, loved the simplicity of everything here.

i really also enjoyed sitting outside, they have outside activities like baggo/corn-hole , large dice ect with such a beautiful view of the bridge, i have to stay, i dont think ill stay anywhere else in houghton/hancock besides this place in my future visits!

This is difficult because the staff and facility were excellent during our multi-night stay. We were in the Eastwood suite and it.was.so.loud. Street noise made sleeping very difficult, even with the complimentary white noise machine on the nightstand. And since the street/intersection was so close to the building, we had to keep the black-out shades open only about 8" from the top of the window or else truck drivers would be able to see into our space. Everything else was great, I just wish I had known how the building were situated. I don't know if staying in a suite that faced the parking lot would have been quieter, but perhaps I will ask next time.

One of the owners greeted us and showed us around with all the amenities. She went above and beyond for extra things for our family situation. Highly highly recommend them.

Our stay at the Lodge was fantastic. Staff was friendly available if needed, the place was well stocked with everything we needed for 3 days.The sauna was awesome too as it was cold when we were there.

The amenities and staff were excellent and very welcoming. The large gathering place with fireplace, t.v., games, snacks, refreshments to invite friends over is very unique. Extremely comfortable and clean suites with a great sauna and small workout area for the building to use.
Only one very minor drawback for light sleepers is the road and snowmobile sound if you stay on road side of the building.
Best property manager ever who was very helpful, kind and willing to share the history of the building and area. It felt like home away from home and I highly recommend it!

What an amazing place to stay! Spent 2 night for snowmobiling in the area. Excellent view and easy access to the trail. We will definitely be back and choosing a different suite to see what the others are like. We stayed in the Ruth suite and it was excellent for the 2 of us

Very clean and modern on the inside. Great set up for preparing meals and cooking. Clean new looking bathroom. Large common area to hang out with board games and fireplace etc. Would definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

no staff onsite but keyless access was easy and the rooms were nice and location was good

Don't judge this place from outside, from inside its very beautiful, clean and safe to stay with family. We enjoyed our stay :)

Pricey but worth it. It was clean, inviting, comfortable, and in a great location. Everything is new and high end. Owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the unique property. We plan revisiting in the future.

The room had lots of nice features, even an adjustable bed with massage. They have nice laundry appliances and provide dish and laundry soap. It would have been nice to have a step stool to reach the pots and pans. Using code entry for the doors was great. No worry about losing keys. There is no sign on the building and I had a terrible time finding the building to check in at night. It is a convenient location. The main thing to keep in mind is that one room ( Eastwood Suite)is right next to a highway. I mean RIGHT next to; just a sidewalk in between. They provided a white noise machine but if you are a light sleeper you will not sleep well.
