KVA Talalla Beach Villa

Wunderschöne Lage, einfach und alles, was es braucht, wenig touristisch, perfekt zum abschalten!

We had a great 4 nights at KVA and it’s very good value for money. Situated right on the beach with a huge, shaded garden (much bigger than we expected) and cooling sea breeze. The owners Indra and Wasantha are really friendly and helpful (even bringing us complimentary fruit juice when we were relaxing in the garden) along with the ever cheerful Vinny who helps out. Good home cooked breakfast available too if you want it. Our simple room had a balcony with sea view (recommended!) and rooms now have A/C. Also, washing machine available to guests. Talalla beach is beautiful and KVA is at its quieter end (not that any of it gets busy) and plenty of places to eat and drink on the beach (shout out to Muts cafe and Tides). Sea swimmable though you’ll need to watch the waves / current and the far end is calmer.

Best place to stay in talalla area. Room is big, clean and super comfortable bed, the terrace is a dream, toilet is good and the garden to cross to the beach is beautiful and has places where you can seat, relax, eat and do yoga etc .
The share kitchen also has a great terrace area which looks at the beach.
The family that runs it is fantastic !!
I wish we could have stay longer ( we stay 2 weeks).
We will be 100% caming back!!

the property has a beautiful view of the beach and garden and just less than 40 metres . The hosts are very nice and kind .

Le stanze erano spaziose e pulite, quelle con terrazza verso il mare assolutamente spettacolari. Gli host accoglienti e disponibili. Abbiamo potuto fare la lavatrice e utilizzare la cucina e il frigorifero.
La spiaggia è stupenda. Le onde potenti ma si riesce a fare il bagno perché verso riva l' acqua è bassa e le onde più lente. Dall' altra parte della spiaggia si trovano vari ristoranti. L' ultima sera gli host ci hanno preparato un' ottima cena di curry a prezzo economicissimo. (1200 rupie a persona)

Zo een mooi zicht aan het mooie strand Talalla beach.. De kamer is heel leuk en heeft een eigen terras. Je kijkt naar de zee en het strand en de prachtige tuin waar ligbedjes werden geïnstalleerd. Je krijgt ook strandhanddoeken. Het koppel dat je ontvangt is zooo lief. Je kan er ook ontbijten. Er is een open keuken waar je de ijskast kan gebruiken, er staat een microgolf en een wasmachine die je mag gebruiken. We zijn hier in low season en er was echt nog niets open. De eerste avond omdat we nog geen scooter hadden is de eigenaar voor ons om take away en bier gereden. Ze zijn zo betrokken en lief en zacht. We bleven er 3 nachten. Omdat het nu regenseizoen is is de zee erg wild, die hoor je wel heel erg als je het raam openlaat. Dus om te slapen beter raam dicht.🙂.Als we weg gingen vroeg in de ochtend om een bus naar Ella te nemen aan de overkant van de straat kwam de eigenaar mee met ons. Tip: er passeren rond 5u45 en rond 6u30 2 bussen die rechtstreeks naar Ella rijden zonder dat je moet overstappen. Het is een semi luxury local bus richting Badulla. Ze hebben iets meer confort als de gewone local bussen en doen iets minder stops. De bus deed er 5 uur over en kostte amper 3 euro voor 2 personen. Je huurt best een scooter om de prachtige Zuidkust te verkennen.De eigenaars weten waar je terecht kan hiervoor.

Ottima posizione, con accesso diretto alla spiaggia e un giardino carino e curato. Camera con balcone vista mare davvero notevole. Possibilità di avere anche la colazione ad un ottimo prezzo.

Everything - The people, the place, the views, the vibes. Hot showers with good pressure, fresh coconuts off the tree delivered to your room complimentary. Functioning kitchen including fridge / freezer. Washing machine. Private beach at your doorstep with comfy lounges. Friendly and wonderful hosts. The sound of the waves from your bed at night.

Best stay in Sri Lanka - not to be missed!!

Indra is such a lovely person, we even cooked together :) and the place is just stunning, directly at the beach with a big lush garden and beautiful clean rooms with sea view terrace. There is also a kitchen that is free to use and some sun beds in the garden and at the beach
