My stay at Numa Roma Verso was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I have encountered.
The property operates almost entirely without any on-site staff, reception desk, or meaningful human support. While this may appear efficient on paper, it becomes a complete disaster when something goes wrong.
On our very first day, the fire alarm started sounding and continued for more than four hours. Guests were forced to remain outside the building while waiting for someone to attend to the situation. There was no member of staff on-site to assess the emergency, provide guidance, reassure guests, or even explain whether there was a genuine fire risk. Eventually, someone arrived and reset the system. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred again. Once more, the alarm continued ringing for hours without any prompt intervention. The experience was stressful, disruptive, and completely unacceptable.
What made the situation even worse was the total lack of customer support. Every issue had to be reported through a chatbot that either failed to respond or provided no meaningful assistance. Calls to the published support number went unanswered. Messages sent via WhatsApp also failed to produce any real support or solution. During what appeared to be a potential emergency situation, there was effectively nobody available to help. This property is a textbook example of the risks associated with removing all human presence from hospitality operations. A hotel is not simply a collection of rooms, it requires staff who can respond when guests need assistance. Numa's fully automated model failed spectacularly when faced with a basic operational issue.
The location is reasonably central, but the main entrance is directly adjacent to a row of garbage collection bins, creating a poor first impression and detracting from the overall experience. The rooms themselves are clean and reasonably maintained.

Tutto perfetto! Appartamento molto ben organizzato, pulito e moderno. Zona comoda per raggiungere la stazione dí Trastevere.
Recently renovated and identical to photos shared on booking.com. Very supportive staff to accommodate a special request we had prior to check in.
Тот самый момент, когда всё просто супер иы всего достаточно!
Идеально чисто, прекрасно укомплектовано, очень комфортно жить, приятный район, везде удобно добираться.
The property was clean, had very good space set up with kitchen, washing machine and dryer. It’s located near grocery store, pastry shop and pizza place which were all very good. It had good water pressure for nice showers. I like the fact that it has an essential closet to get extra towels, coffee pods, etc.
It’s far from the tourist attractions. It’s about 30 minutes walk, however there is a tram station close by. No direct route to the Vatican though.
Nice large apartment 2 double beds (including sofa bed)
Nothing
Pulita e spaziosa, buona posizione
Divano letto estremamente scomodo
