The hotel is wonderful, set in greenery and surrounded by incredible birds and monkeys. The staff were super helpful and the food lovely. variety of foods at their own restaurant.

It is a local hotel but foreigners are made to feel very welcome by Nilupa, the woman running it, and the staff. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. Nilupa did everything she could to help us have a great stay.
If you are less familiar with non-western style hotels, be aware that it seems normal for the food (which was delicious and plentiful) to be served cold. The shower also has no hot water but you may not need it. The location is by a main road and the train runs along the other side of the river but I still slept well. The pictures may flatter the rooms a little.

Excellent value hotel with friendly staff. The street is surprisingly quiet, and the location is great. helped me with the airport shuttle.
Basic room, has everything you need for the night even if not in the best condition. Close to Pekoe Trail.
Sheets and towels were dirty, they ask more money from foreigners, the bathroom was filthy and all in all it was a bad place to stay especially for the money. Too expensive and could not understand what the employee was saying. Would not reccommend. They also showed us their budget room which was still expensive and had a bathroom that was basivally outside and did not even have a proper shower or working toilet.
