Despite the sad purpose of our visit, the hotel location/staff made it very pleasant!
Pros:

Breakfast was good, yet served scrambled eggs everyday we were there. They offered gluten-free bagels! There was a service attendant standing by to assist with patron’s requests. Very helpful and courteous! Front desk staff were also ready to help whenever we approached them.

Cons:

Breakfast could use some change at least every other day. Bacon and sausages were not nitrate-free! We were charged for parking each day of our stay — hard to believe with these vast open hill sides. We would expect this in a crowded metropolitan city; even so, upper-end hotels offer courtesy parking at no charge.

The room is nice tho front desk staff needs a lesson in customer service .

Do not use a third party like booking.com

This reservation was not transferred to the hotel. The amount I thought I was paying for this stay with booking.com was not what I had to pay to the hotel in order to check in. The hotel didn’t have my booking or payment information, which I thought was taken care of when I made the reservation. I needed up having to pay the hotel directly. It would have been much easier booking directly with the hotel from the beginning. Will not use booking.com in the future.
