Nothing really.

There were several issues that were brought up with the hotel staff that were not addressed.

I used the washer and dryer services. The clothes were unfortunately ruined (fabric stretched out, frayed, and pilling of good quality that did not cause issue when I used other machines). I brought this issue up with the hotel staff receptionist before check out. All he did was apologize but did not help whatsoever in resolving the problem.

I explained to him that my clothes were expensive and cost more than the hotel's night stay. When I asked him I wished to speak with his manager (in several different languages, including Hindi), he said he was not available. When pressed for for the manager's contact information via phone or email, he blatantly stated that there was no such contact information. It was clear he was lying. Another staff member came by with whom the issue was addressed again by the receptionist, to which he uttered something back in Japanese and scurried to another room to avoid being confronted. The whole encounter was exceptionally frustrating.

I told him to at least leave a disclaimer stating there is a risk to clothes getting damaged and that now I had to re-purchase clothes, and all he did was stare back. I urge you to not book this hotel. Terrible customer service and no attempt at compensating for customer's damaged property.

Facilities - the washer and dryer machine was covered in dust, lint, hair and torn up pieces of paper that got all over my clothes. I was disgusted when I opened the lid and wished I never put my clothes in there.

Amenities - this hotel is so incompetent that when I asked them for basic amenities for water, they said none was available and I had to go to the convenience store to purchase. There were 0 amenities in the room. If you need basic toiletries (toothbrush, q tips, etc, you have to go to the reception)

Staff che non capisce l’inglese. Le camere non vengono pulite, solo cambiati gli asciugamani ogni giorno.

Hotel Review

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. First of all, the rooms were not cleaned even once. They merely left clean towels on the bed, which is unacceptable for an establishment of this category.

Additionally, while the location claims to be close to the center of Gion, in reality, although the hotel is on the street, it takes 35 minutes to walk to the main area and the temple.

Finally, the value for money is truly poor: the rooms are far too expensive for the services provided. I would not recommend this hotel.

空気清浄機のタンクが汚れていて使う気が起きなかった

The only thing that bothered me but I got over it after day 2 is how firm the bed is. A little too hard than what I’m use to. But I adapted to it. Other than that everything was GREAT!
