Pros:

Beautiful room situated in a great building. Beautiful gardens and viewing area looking over the sea.

Cons:

The only problem was that it was so hot and no air conditioning. The fan did little to help

Disappointing
Pros:

The location is lovely

Cons:

We booked the family room to find - after a steep climb down to the room which wasn’t in the info - only 1 bed made up. The staff were unable to help at all and there was no spare bedding. It was overpriced and not comfortable.

A beautiful stay with exceptional breakfast and fantastic staff.
Pros:

Fantastic setting and a really enjoyable stay overall. The staff were excellent throughout and very helpful in resolving the one small issue we had, which was handled quickly and professionally. Breakfast was exceptional and one of the highlights of the stay. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and we would definitely return.

Cons:

Our only slight disappointment was the evening meal in the restaurant, which didn’t quite live up to expectations given the rest of the experience. That said, it wouldn’t stop us staying again, although we’d probably choose to dine elsewhere in the evening next time.

The best way to experience Royal William Yard
Pros:

Beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. One of the best hotel stays I’ve experienced in the South West. Dinner/breakfast were both superb and Karen and Georgia made sure it was a memorable occasion.

For reference this review relates to room 3 which I think is a suite. Friends were staying in smaller rooms which were pleasant but not as special. Book accordingly!

Cons:

The only improvement could be to the check-in. If the restaurant is busy it can take longer than you might expect if staying in a conventional hotel. Minor point.
Breakfast service wasn’t that quick, but we just had another coffee to make up.
