We had a very nice break exploring Plymouth.
Pros:

The sense of history and being in the middle of it all

Cons:

The toilet and wash basin were in a tiny cupboard. The wash basin was incredibly small, so small that we couldn’t fill the kettle from it and the toilet itself was very small. The bed was only a double.

Nice house. Residents could be looked after a bit better
Pros:

Nice period house

Cons:

Checking in was at the restaurant a fair walk in the rain and there was no parking near the hotel and no help with bags

We were so impressed, we hope to return very soon
Pros:

Check in was easy - Karen in Maison Pierre was very friendly and helpful. We ate in Maison Pierre the first night too, lovely staff and delicious food. Our room in Admiral’s House was beautiful with a super king bed, couple of easy chairs too, very roomy and lovely shower-room. Very clean and tastefully decorated

Cons:

We would have liked to have stayed longer!

Apart from comments above we had a pleasant stay.
Pros:

See above ratings

Cons:

The room we stayed in was extremely compact. It was on the ground floor facing the road outside and next to the main front door to the building. As a consequence we were disturbed every time other guests returned at night. I could not describe this as a ‘quiet room’.
