Pros:

Good location, nice period hotel with a good size room. They seemed environmentally friendly not using single use soap. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Would book another Maison Pierre hotel based on this experience.

Cons:

Damaged window, one pane of glass has dropped and the window couldn't be opened. Although the room was clean there was dust on the TV, stands, etc. Minor point but looked as though nothing fixed had been dusted.

Another minor point is the parked wasn't solely for the hotel. We were lucky to get a space in the car park in front of the hotel. There are times when this may not be possible. May have missed in the description that it was shared parked but assumed it was only for the hotel.

A comfortable and historic place to stay.
Pros:

A great room which retained many of its original Georgian features, but which had all the comforts of a contemporary room. Many nice little touches such as homemade biscuits in the room and a great selection of teas and coffee. A wonderful view over the square. All the food, breakfast, lunch and dinner were very good.

Cons:

The checking in process.

Pros:

Loved the location. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well equipped and decorated.

Cons:

The extractor fan in the ensuite was particularly noisy, and the window blind strings were broken. Just minor issues that didn't cause us a problem
