Exceptional
Pros:

Admirals house was in a fantastic location, room was stunningly beautiful, included breakfast was exceptional. The added extras were a complete surprise and very welcome. Looking for excuses to stay over in Plymouth so we can stay here again.

A great guest house in a really interesting, historic and picturesque location.
Pros:

Really lovely historic property in a superb part of Plymouth to visit.

Cons:

Slight lack of attention to detail which didn't affect us too much - the mini bar fridge was faulty and was hot despite adjustment. the TV remote control worked in all aspects except to turn the TV off and despite all attempts we ended up having to cover the screen with a towel so as not to be disturbed at night.

Great Hotel, needs some investment.
Pros:

Like the location, the restaurant, the staff were exceptional, the room for the most part was good.

Cons:

The fridge didnt cool and the coffee machine leaked. We did report this but it seems nothing was done.

Great Hotel, but it needs some investment before it falls behind its status.

Fantastic stay and for a treat worth the cost.
Pros:

Great breakfast - well worth waiting for. Lovely architecture and warm room. Really comfy bed. Very helpful staff and the food at their partner restaurant was great.

Cons:

Breakfast doesn't start until 0800 so for those who have to be away early it's not ideal. If you can, it is worth waiting for though!

Nice place. Nice staff. Nice connotation. But the facilities really were lacking. Even the basics.
Pros:

The staff and location were great. So friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

I had no curtains or blinds or shutters in the bedroom. So it was no only awful in the morning but I had no privacy at all as I was on the lower ground floor. Also the TV int he bedroom had no plug so didn’t work. The mini bar had no power so wasn’t cold. The fan in the bathroom was so loud that I had to cut it off at the fuse. Also the radiators didn’t work in the bedroom (yes I moved the thermostats) and the towel rail didn’t work (yes I set the thermostat and put on the isolator switch). I had to use a bed throw and cushions just to get some sleep.
