Great experience during our stay
Pros:

Immaculately clean suite with lots of complementary tea, coffee and fresh cookies. Really friendly staff at the bistro for check in and breakfast, and amazing food at Bistro Pierre. Overall, brilliant customer service and a great stay. Highly recommended.

Pros:

Lovely stay, beautiful location and a great breakfast.

Cons:

Trying to contact the hotel is almost impossible by phone. AI answers and tries to put you through but whatever option you choose it fails 😕

The location was amazing!! I liked that I could see Royal Navy and Indian navy ships from the little alcove to the harbour! We both liked the sea and alcove and location! And the history!!

Cons:

Me personally was the metal slabs on the road that made noise when driven over and someone with a dirt bike every hour over night!

Great location and large comfortable room. The retro DAB radio was very sweet.
Pros:

The room was large and well equipped. The shower was excellent. Great location and views from the pretty garden.

Cons:

No complimentary water in the room. The restaurant was closed at 09:00 and wasn't able to offer room service. The bar closed at 09:30. I arrived late so was unable to get anything to eat other than bar snacks.

A really great place to stay!
Pros:

So many things. The little touches like the old fashioned radio playing when we arrived, the lovely quality sheets, the clean functional bathroom with ready hot water, the complimentary biscuits, the excellent breakfast at Bistrot Pierre and the free car park. The staff were all lovely and Royal William Yards is just a gorgeous place to be and to explore. We had no idea it was there but we loved it!

Cons:

We got a bit hot under the winter duvet but it wasn't really a problem.

Relaxing with a small taste of indulgence - we love it 😊
Pros:

We love the period features of Royal William Yard and admiral house, it always has a sense of historical elegance, but with contemporary boutique.

Cons:

Don’t expect chic, clean cut lines and decoration, it doesn’t bother me as I understand that maintaining a listed property like this is almost impossible whilst trading, but some guests I imagine would say that rooms need painting etc.

Pros:

Excellent location within the old Royal William Yard. Plenty of places to eat on site. Wonderful breakfast.

Cons:

Our room was on the top floor with no lift was a little difficult for my husband who has breathing difficulties.

Pros:

It was in an historic setting. The property had character. Bistro Pierre just across the square had tasty French cuisine and was excellent value for money.

Really enjoyed our night here.
Pros:

Couldn't be better placed, inside the Royal William Yard. Beautiful room in a lovely sympathetically restored building, very comfortable and well equipped. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, crisp bedlinen. Even a secret garden behind with wonderful views of Plymouth Sound. Given the free parking, breakfast included, and a welcome drink from Bistro Pierre excellent value for money too. Luxury on a budget!

Cons:

The shower was possibly a little underwhelming. Bistro Pierre is .... Bistro Pierre, so hardly fine dining, but there are other places to eat close by in the evening and there was lots of choice for breakfast. Top tip - avoid the scrambled eggs.

Super verblijf aan South West Coast Path!
Pros:

Leuke locatie, sfeer, goede bedden en douche, authentiek gebouw, ruime kamers, persoonlijke benadering. Heerlijk ontbijt, dichtbij South West Coast Path, veel horeca nabij.

Cons:

Voor de derde persoon in ons gezelschap was de bedbank wat minder comfortabel doordat deze uit elkaar schuiven kan terwijl je erop ligt.

Vaut le détour pour séjourner dans la maison de l’amiral.
Pros:

Belle situation dans ce complexe historique. Navette en bateau pour rejoindre le centre ville.
