Terrible value for money, one of the more expensive campsites for one of the worst facilities.
Pros:

It was well placed

Cons:

The place was not built for the amount of people camping.
Very bad toilet and shower availability.
They were falling apart and not clean.

Lovely & gracious space to be outdoors
Pros:

Crisp weather, just like I expected for Scotland. Even pitches for tents and our group loved having a campfire. VERY dog friendly campsite and we enjoyed seeing happy people walking their dogs about.

Cons:

Not the property’s issue but some travellers seemed to not like camping. It is a personal problem really and the staff did what they could to help. Unfortunately, some people just don’t like camping out and let everyone around them know it.

Updated road was brilliant to use
Pros:

The road coming into the property has recently been laid down. It was very easy to drive on. Too many campgrounds have ruts and holes this time of year but theirs was grand.

Consideration and caring I wasn’t expecting from a campsite.
Pros:

I hadn’t packed for the turn in weather. The staff brought me an extra sleeping bag to borrow for the night. I never expected to be taken care of like that. I stayed warm all night! Thank you.

Countryside experience a short drive from Glasgow
Pros:

The faint sound of sheep coming up from the valley was very pleasant. The birds singing and the sheep reminded me of home when I was a child.

I'm hoping we will receive a refund, for this was not suitable.
Pros:

The situation was quite lovely, if you are looking to camp. Very hard to locate though. The staff was very apologetic for the misinterpretation, apparently it has happened before.

Cons:

We arrived at the property expecting 2 ROOMS in an old HOTEL as this is what it was listed on the booking form. Very ambiguous. It is called The Pitches which is a common name for campsites but I have never heard these called ROOMS.
We discovered that it was in fact 2 sites for motor homes .If the accommodation is for camping it should be listed as such, NOT ROOMS.
We did not stay, we had to find other accommodation.
