I am dissatisfied with my stay, as the property did not meet the expectations set by the listing. Below, I outline the issues I encountered during my stay:
Major Misrepresentation
* This is not an apartment rental(at least not for me). Guests are only allowed to stay for up to 4 hours unless additional fees are paid. Overnight stays require extra "guest passes" for each individual, and these passes come at an additional cost.
* I offered a friend of mine spontaneous to stay with me in Manila, because I thought I booked an Apartment and this shouldn’t be a problem. When we arrived my friend wasn’t allowed to come in. The owner just said thats not her problem, because thats the rules but I could go in. We asked if we could cancel the booking at least but she said no.
* The listing failed to clearly communicate this, misleading me into thinking I had rented an actual apartment. In reality, I had only rented a bed.
* Be aware that you are not allowed to bring a friend or person you meet on a party to your place
Unexpected Costs and Financial Strain
* Initial price: 28,000. Additional costs: 15,000(initially 22.000) for a friend, totaling 43,000.
* These extra charges forced me into financial difficulty, which could have been avoided with upfront and clear communication. Then I wouldn’t have booked this “apartment”
Insufficient Cleanliness and Maintenance
* The apartment was only superficially clean. Crumbs and debris were left on the sofa.
* The oven was dirty and non-functional, ruining our Christmas dinner, and we had to throw away half of our food. The main reason for booking this “apartment” was the oven, which turned out not to be working.
* Bathroom tiles are just a sticky film that is already coming off, with yellow stains visible in the corners and some mould
Amenities Issues
* The washing machine, while shown in pictures, was non-functional. This was misleading.

There's a washing machine but the plug is locked, would have been great if it could be used by the guest.

At the entrance of the building, sometimes they leave the glass door open, therefore allowing the air conditioning not to be full operation. And every time you have a guest to visit, you have to keep logging them in and out. The guest name should already be added at the time of reservations.
