We had a great trip because of this hotel
Pros:

The entire experience at this hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and well kept. Very convenient parking right in the back lot. The food was good as well

Fantastic stay in a quaint hotel!
Pros:

Welcoming from the moment we stepped through the door. We had dinner (on a tight timescale) and it was spot on. Great food, great atmosphere (even for a quiet time!). The breakfast was superb, good choice of food and very tasty. All the staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. What more could you ask for.

Good accommodation in beautiful quiet village
Pros:

Travelling from Australia we had a car and chose this quiet village as central to the Brecon Beacons area and walks.
This place was totally refurbished recently, clean,beautiful decor and very quiet.
Comfortable bed.
Beautiful bathroom and hot shower.
Easy parking behind.
Bar downstairs and restaurant attached.
Breakfast was nice,a hot breakfast offered to.
We had dinner twice as no were else to go without travelling in the car.
Food was tasty.
Quite a lot of stairs to different floors so if you have an issue caring bags or walking request lower level room.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely stay within a warm little village
Pros:

Castle Coaching Inn felt very warm and welcoming for such a tiny village. The lady with the dark hair and tattoos was amazing and made me feel very welcomed and helped with anything I needed. The room was big along with the bathroom, very clean and tidy with teas / coffees, a fan and fresh water in the mini fridge. Comfy bed and pillows - my room was refreshed anytime I went out for the day and I didn't even request this service so very lovely of them. Though their gluten & dairy free options were limited, the kitchen was very accomodating to my dietry requirements and the food was excellent - definitely higher quality ingredients used and the chef is very talented. The Inn was very close to Llyn Fach Fawr and myself and my doggo had a great time. We would stay here again.

Cons:

The Inn is on a main road so some noise.
Pricey room and food - I've stayed in nicer places for the same or less.
The guy who also works behind the bar I found very awkward and not so easy to talk to compared to the lady.

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, and the decor done to a very high standard ...bed was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious and finished our stay with a lovely breakfast. I would definitely recommend and return.

Cons:

The only downside I can say if you can call it a downside is that we found our room very warm.

Pros:

The staff and locals were very friendly both to us and our dog, and the breakfast was wonderful.

Cons:

There was a little mishap with the payment for the stay, however it was sorted smoothly once pointed out.
