Such great value for money. Huge comfortable bed, massive bathroom with great water pressure. Freezing air con, I slept with the fan on because the room keeps cool easily. I felt really safe here which is important to me as a F solo traveler. Great location near cafes and beach. Really friendly staff (family business) who were very helpful & organised me transport to my next town for very cheap.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und sofort wurde eine Kokosnuss frisch von der Palme geschnitten und als Drink serviert. Das Gebäude und somit die Zimmer waren noch ganz neu, modernes Bad, alles war sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Der Vermieter erzählte uns, dass morgens gegen 9 Uhr meist Schildkröten am nahen Strand im Wasser sind. Es war ein kurzer Spaziergang (200m) und wir haben tatsächlich morgens mit Schildkröten geschwommen. Mit dem Auschecken konnten wir uns Zeit lassen. Frühstück gibt es dort nicht, aber direkt am Strand, wo auch die Schildkröten sind, gab es leckeres Frühstück mit Blick aufs Meer. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

When we booked our stay at the New Breeze, we were apprehensive as it didn't have many reviews on booking. Nevertheless, we decided to take a chance given the appealing photos of the rooms and the friendly price. The New Breeze is a very family-friendly and quiet place. The room matches the photos and the owner was extremely friendly. Everything about our stay was perfect. We thoroughly recommend it.

its right by the beach, wonderful location and I really enjoyed the private garden with the coconut trees. The big room and the big bathroom was great. Chinthaka, the owner, was very attentive.

The place is brand new! Rooms are big, quiet at night and comfortable. The shower was really big and with a lot of pressure :-)

This homestay is also ideally located next to Madiha surf spot (walking distance) and plenty of cafés and restaurants.

The Sri Lankan family running this place has been very welcoming and making our 5-night stay very pleasant! The last day we could also benefit from late checkout before our drive back to the airport which helped to make the end of our trip in Sri Lanka a great one!

Everything: it is clean, new, trendy, it has a big bed with anti-mosquito net, a big immaculate clean bathroom with a separated shower.
It has a kettle and free instant coffee.
The towels are very soft.
The room has a deck overviewing a beautifully-kept garden.
The man who runs it is sweet and accommodating, and welcomed us with a nice, fresh coconut.
We've been traveling in Sri Lanka for over a week and stayed in six hostels/guest houses so far, but this is, definitely, the best one! We would definitely go back!

Very good host, can help with any inquiry from laundry, yoga mat to organizing a trip to national park. The internet was fast but with some limitations
