Peaceful oasis during a mad scramble of a trip
Pros:

This was a calm and supremely comfortable oasis and the end of a very active trip spent primarily in big cities. Some highlights:
-Breakfasts were phenomenal
-Perhaps the nicest bath/shower space of any hotel I've stayed at
-Room was bigger than expected; comfortably slept a family of four
-If Kyoto didn't have so many important sites and fascinating diversions, we would have been perfectly happy to spend entire days at the hotel; it's just that comfortable

Per la posizione a est di Kyoto, forse la struttura migliore che mi sia mai capitata. Ci ritornerei subito!
Pros:

Le due stanze che abbiamo prenotato erano enormi, in stile giapponese, con una vasca caldissima sempre pronta e a disposizione per rigenerarsi. La posizione tranquilla vicino alle principali attrazioni di Gion, il parcheggio disponibile è gratuito. Molto familiare e comodo, molto pulito e godibile.

Cons:

Non ci è piaciuto il non poter scegliere una colazione diversificata per i quattro ospiti. Avendo prenotato due stanze, avremmo preferito poter scegliere la colazione giapponese per due persone e quella occidentale per le altre due. Ma ci hanno detto che non era possibile. Abbiamo dovuto scegliere tutti e quattro la stessa.

Somehow they were able to separate service and comfort. Truly a wonder to be able to turn service into an uncomfortable experience.

Never wake up your guests. Do not throw things at your guests.

豪华房间超赞，床很大很舒适

Cons:

但是不推荐晚餐，因为需要坐车去到另一个旅馆，而且味道比较一般，性价比也不高（晚餐是另外加选的，不是包含在订房里的）

Pros:

The property feels private and tucked away but is such a short walking distance from some of the most beautiful parts of the city. The private onsen is magical and the rooms are comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. Staff is gracious and the breakfast they prepare is great.

Don't miss this gem.
Pros:

Everything was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful. The in-room Onsen was incredible. The formal welcome from the staff when we arrived was special and lovely. The location can't be beat. The ambiance and peaceful atmosphere felt authentic and serene. The "happy hour" drinks and snacks were a nice perk and the staff was incredible. Loved the delicious gelato shop within the hotel.

Cons:

Nothing. We are recommending the hotel to everyone. Can't wait to return.
