Bad experience
Cons:

First of all the AC in the room didn't work we had to move to a different room after we were already settled. The hotel charges a fee when you eat there. And the complementary breakfast never came. We waited 1hr for scrambled eggs and beans and they got the order wrong. When I went to go tell them the cook (lady) sounded that she wasn't having a good day. Blamed it on the waiter that he took the wrong plates to the table but still didn't fix the problem. We never got our food. Very disappointed specifically because we had a child with us that was hungry

Nice, cozy place perfect for a family vacation.
Pros:

I loved the palm trees in the middle of hotel with the tables and chairs.
The beach hut because we didn’t spend extra for umbrellas and chairs.

Cons:

They charged us $10.00 for a very old towel because it was very dirty and they came to tell us that 30 minutes before directly to our room in a very rude way.
Very poor wifi signal in the room.
The swimming pool was too deep. I don’t know how to swim but I usually stay close to the steps, since I’m short.

Pros:

They have modernized a little more it really looks outdated and rusty specially, the bathrooms and the pool. But the property isn’t a nice location! And the staff is amazing.

No ponen agua en las habitaciones , ni hacen el aseo cada día si uno permanece allí un par de días . El televisor no funcionaba

Pros:

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and excellent service. The hotel location was excellent.

Cons:

When I got to the property they made me pay $52 dollars extra from what booking had said would be my final total. They said I had to pay taxes (inpuestos) when on the booking info it says all taxes and fees are already included.
It rain and none of the staff dried up the floor, nor put a wet floor signs. The floor are already slippery without being wet. Since there was no wet floor sign my son did fall. They never mopped.
They did not provide me any information regarding the check out and property info until I asked.
They did not put any extra toilet paper.
The food was not great. It can be better.

Exceptional
Pros:

The place is amazing, the staff was great, especially the front desk. Alexis was so helpful. The waiters were beyond the service. Eva and Martin always had a warm smile and were willing to help and serve us promptly. Thank you!

Cons:

The only thing is I saw people driving on the beach very fast. From what I understood , they are not supposed to drive around the area because it is dangerous for anybody who sitting on the beach .

Nothing. This place was horrible. The smell was so bad, we had to check out after one night. Roaches in the room, sheets smelled horrible.

They charge tourist really high amt for anything you request.
Pros:

Location is good by the beach and AC.

Cons:

Service was ok , no towel, there was some construction wood in front of the room. The food is over price. You get free breakfast it and die creamer and they charge me $2 for an ounce.

This place is a two star or less.

Cons:

Location is good, right on the water, as for staff, Alexis was really good. Now let’s go with the rating;
Facilities are really old and not up-kept. The rooms and specifically the bathrooms are horrible, they have not been updated in many years. The pool looks super dirty, there was no one enjoying it nor did I see a staff member making an effort to clean it. To top it off, breakfast was includes(we did not have any, just coffee), we each had a cup of coffee but the milk for the coffee was not included, they charged us $4. I have never seen this in any part of the world I’ve traveled to. Shout out to Alexis, he was pleasant and very helpful.
