Beautiful surroundings, bathroom needed immediate maintenance
Pros:

Grounds were lovely!

Cons:

Common bathroom had 1 broken shower, and 2 shower stalls had incomplete toiletries. Dry sauna had broken bench which was very unsafe

This was my second time visiting. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was enjoyable but just a little too quick.

Good location but very poorly maintained property. Claimed amenities don't exist. No hot water.

It's a beautiful location on the Northern California Coast.

Cons:

The property claims that they are a "resort" camping/lodge. The grounds are extremely neglected and run down. The bath houses on fathers day weekend were without hot water, filthy, and in general poorly maintained. The onsite casual restaurant closed well before published hours and even while open did not have the advertised menu items available, and instead had very minimal options for food. Many people, including my group, arrived counting on these advertised amenities to be as represented. Extremely disappointing, especially on a holiday/celebretory weekend getaway,

Awesome outdoorsy-ish stay right near Año Nuevo!
Pros:

Proximity to state parks, outdoorsy feel, big comfy bed, private cabin with toilet, beautiful nature on site, restaurant and general store for food/drinks

Cons:

Shared bathhouse (knew ahead of time tho), our cabin shared a wall with another (didn't know) and we could hear neighbors quite a bit

Loved all the different ways to stay, the communal spaces like the restaurant, beer garden, and fire pit/grass areas offer guests all sorts of ways to experience this beautiful property. All staff were kind, friendly, & accommodating. Looking forward to returning & walking the trails!

Cons:

Restaurant/general store were amazing to have on site, offerings could be kicked up just one notch or two to be really impressive. Cascade could use some art/music to improve ambiance!
