Pros:

Hele bijzondere plek in een vallei. Een paar huizen in het dorp zijn Homestays. Toch voelt het totaal niet toeristisch, het normale leven gaat door en heel bijzonder om daar deel van te zijn. Extreem goede service door heel prettig personeel. Lief en attent! Eten is heerlijk en er kan ook vegetarisch gekookt worden voor je!

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument incroyable à Little House.

Nous avons été reçus merveilleusement bien, comme si nous faisions partie de la famille. L’accueil était chaleureux, sincère et tellement naturel que nous nous sommes sentis immédiatement à l’aise.

La maison est très bien agencée, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Le cadre est magnifique : un joli jardin, un petit cours d’eau qui passe à côté… c’est paisible, ressourçant et plein de charme.

Nous avons eu la chance exceptionnelle d’assister à la fête « Lồng Tồng », où nous avons rencontré différentes ethnies locales. C’était un moment tout simplement incroyable, authentique et très émouvant. Nous étions les seuls touristes, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus spéciale. Les gens étaient souriants, accueillants et heureux de partager leur culture avec nous. Nous avons même participé à tous les jeux et aux danses traditionnelles : une expérience unique que nous n’oublierons jamais !

La cuisine est excellente : nous avons extrêmement bien mangé tout au long du séjour. Si s’occupe de toute l’intendance avec une grande générosité et elle cuisine merveilleusement bien. Chaque repas était un vrai régal !

Même si la propriétaire n’était pas présente pendant notre séjour, elle a été très disponible et réactive par messages. Grâce à elle aussi, nous avons pu organiser de belles découvertes et profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Un grand merci à toutes les deux pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité.

Pros:

Beautiful place in local wey small village and on river bank. The host is wonderful and took care of simply everything. Hiking in the area between the villages is great. We also did Paragliding whose location is 10 minutes walking distance from the homestay.

Cons:

Nothing. Really wonderful place.

Pros:

very nice staff who took good care of us; clean facilities; nice surroundings in a small village; host and staff can arranged most things like scooter rental and motorbike taxi; good family dinner option - would recommend

Cons:

the host got our booking mixed up so no one was expecting us when we arrived in the early morning after a local night bus ride from Hanoi; it’s more like a big room separated with wooden walls, so you hear the other guests in their „rooms“; even though the wooden walls don‘t go all the way up to the ceiling (therefore the guest „rooms“ are open at the top) it is hard to get some air ventilation inside so it gets quite hot and humid inside the wooden „rooms“ (they provide fans though); breakfast more on the simple side

Excelente homestay!
Pros:

La comida fué excelente. La ubicación del homestay no encantó, aunque costó de llegar en transporte público y no nos gustó nada el autobús nocturno que cogimos, valió la pena. El homestay está muy cerca del rio y rodeado de arrozales. Las excursiones propuestas no estuvieron mal, aunque el recorrido con moto taxi fué un poco corto y la recomendación del baño en aguas termales a finales de julio, a 40º no fué lo ideal. Hicimos otra excursió de treking por los arrozales y visita a una casa local, con bañito al rio incluido que nos encantó. El personal que nos atendió fué encantador. Muchas gracias por hacer que realmente nuestro viaje a Vietnam fuera toda una experiencia.

Cons:

Precios un poco altos en la cafeteria-restaurante, aunque está todo buenísimo. Camas no muy cómodas, Nos resultó un poco dificil la comunicación con el personal que nos atendió en el homestay no hablán mucho inglés, pero es verdad que hacén lo posible por entenderte gracias al google traslate y su amabilidad y caracter, compensa la barrera del idioma. La gerente si habla inglés y nos atendió telefonicamente, nos ayudó muchísimo en gestionar el transporte y las excursiones que nos propuso en inglés. Comentaros que nos ayudaron a gestionar el transporte y aunque no nos gustó nada los autobuses que utilizamos para llegar y salir de la localidad y las carreteras llenas de baches aprendimos a preguntar que tipo de autobus contratariamos a partir de ese momento de nuestro viaje.

Parfait et reposants.
Pros:

L’endroit est très reposant les rizières autour et le petit village sont magnifiques. Mrs Si est la meilleure cuisinière de tout le Vietnam (après deux semaines de voyage) en plus d’être vraiment gentille et au petit soin tout en étant très discrète. Le Vietnam rural authentique.

Cons:

Rien si vous êtes ok avec le fait de dormir dans un endroit rustique mais très chaleureux. Avec les bouchons d’oreille on dort bien.

A little heaven
Pros:

One of our favourite place in Vietnam. Kind of place you do not want to leave. We did not meet the owner but Ms Si is wonderful, very kind and she makes her best to help you and provide everything you need. The salmon- sashimi-hotpot set for dinner was AMAZING!! And her help to organise our way back to Hanoi really appreciated.
The place was extremely cosy, quiet and very clean. You do not want to miss it.

Cons:

Breakfast could be better. Even if you have the option "breakfast included" drinks like coffee or tea are not included. And the option 'bread' is too simple.

Little House in Khau Pha is a magical place
Pros:

We spent 5 wonderful days relaxing and enjoying the rivers and scenic walks around the house.
The host, Ms. Nga, was incredibly responsive and helped us organize fantastic scooter rides and hikes.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and experience the beauty of nature.

Cons:

Maybe that the rooms lack a bit of space for the luggages but not a big issue

The owners, Nga and her husband, are wonderful, warm, and caring people.
Pros:

The breakfast was great. We tried the traditional breakfast of sticky rice and dried meat. It was unique and delicious. The homestay was in a beautiful location. It's in a valley surrounded by mountains. We particularly love the stream in the back of the homestay; beautiful, fresh, and cool. The owners are wonderful people. The staff are super helpful. We had a great relaxing stay there. Highly recommended!
