The hotel overlooks the ramparts of Galle Fort. The hotel is historic and evokes a bygone era. Andrew and his team provided great service. Our room was large, with a narrow balcony overlooking the sea. The breakfast was good, with à la carte menu options. The hotel is in the heart of the old town, with plenty of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance.
Those with mobility issues should request a room on the first or second floor.

We were in a very small room which they kindly moved us at no extra charge.

Beautiful colonial property in the heart of the old town
Only small issue was that our bed linen smelled a little damp as tho stored away before they had been properly aired. My husband brought this to the attention of the staff who promptly changed them

The service and hospitality were excellent. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast had some great choices. We loved the fresh fruit platter, fresh juice and smoothie shots.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel, located in the fort with amazing views of the ocean. The staff were really polite, friendly & helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. It’s a very special place.
