Pros:

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and nice shower. The location is great too. Everything was excellent.

Size of the suite, Location and view. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Breakfast service was very slow, glass doors in suite were not clean. Big room but not well thought through in terms of mirrors and where to put toiletries.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they were always willing to give us suggestions and helped us find a car company to use during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, we got a different smoothie everyday, lots of fruit and then a main breakfast of our choice. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Galle. It is super close to lots of shops and restaurants

Basic stay in a good location.
Pros:

The location was great and the staff were nice.

Cons:

It looked completely different from the pictures, the room was tiny with a short bed, the curtains didn’t cover the windows properly, the bathroom had a glass door which meant turning on the light lid up the whole bedroom, it was super loud in the morning, the safe was not mounted onto the wall so one could just pick it up in theory.

Last but not least, they charged us a hefty 30 gbp tax which I we didn’t experience elsewhere in Sri Lanka at least at this high amount.

Charming boutique hotel with great staff but choose your room carefully.
Pros:

Cleverly designed boutique hotel around an old colonial building on the western edge of the fort area. The staff were excellent and the complimentary tea and a cake very welcome. The private terrace we had overlooking the fort ramparts and ocean was lovely. Breakfasts also excellent.

Cons:

Although the room we booked had its charms - especially the terrace - it was small and cramped, which isn’t great if you are travelling with luggage for a long trip. The bathroom was also small. A shame as it was the most expensive room we rented in our three week trip.

Pros:

The Bartizan Galle Fort is absolutely stunning. We stayed for one night, which allowed us to see all the sights in the historic fort. The courtyard, where breakfast is served, is beautiful. From the terraces you have an amazing view of the sunset, while simultaneously escaping the crowds. The staff is very friendly.

Cons:

Prices are a little steep, especially since the room isn't very big - but that was to be expected in Galle. The bar on the 2nd floor was unmanned, which felt like a missed opportunity.

I felt like I was in a movie. It was beautifully maintained. Staff really kind. Great breakfast

Excellent location clean room and comfy bed. The staff were very helpful

Cons:

This is not to do with the property but the taxi they booked for us turned out to be very disappointing. He drove in a very aggressive fast manner, we have used taxis throughout our travels and this driver was certainly the worst experience of our travels, he also stopped for petrol, and he wanted a cup of tea so stopped at the service station. We did not want anything just to get to the airport safely. I would not recommend that you use him again

Direkt am Meer in tollem Gebäude
Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden oder an einen der Strände zu gehen. Direkt am Meer kann man den Sonnenuntergang erleben.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Cons:

Unsere Zimmer waren eher klein, ist aber nicht weiter schlimm, da man immer unterwegs ist.
Eine Bar im Hotel wäre toll für einen Schlummertrunk ☺️

Pros:

Great location and view from Terrace was lovely

Cons:

The breakfast was very poor - the fruit was over ripe and the cooked breakfast was over elaborate and arrived cold. We ate else where and had a lovely meal
