Příjemné ubytování na zajímavém místě
Pros:

Skromné a jednoduché ubytování. Všude je čisto, vše základní potřebné je k dispozici, ručníky, mýdlo i šampon. Moc dobrá snídaně. Personál také velice ochotný. Parkování k dispozici. Doporučuji si něco přečíst o historii a současnosti místa, které nyní slouží jako vzdělávací instituce zabývající se totalitními režimy a ochranou lidských práv. K dispozici je knihovna s tematickou literaturou přímo v budově. Přestože je historie místa pohnutá, působilo na mě dobře a příjemně.

Cons:

V pokoji byla trochu zima, ale možná jsem jen neuměla ovládat topení.

God frokost.
Rent

Cons:

Køyesenger. Vi bestilte dobbeltrom og fikk køyesenger. Det er ikke lett for gamle folk å klatre opp i øvrekøya, og enda verre når en skal ned.

Pros:

Zimmer in einem Museum/Gedenkstätte, das rund um die Uhr besucht werden kann. Eher Jugendherbergenfeeling aber mit eigenem Bad. Frühstück ist ein Lunchpaket aber reichhaltig. Kaffee gibt es dazu.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach, außer schlafen kann dort nicht viel stattfinden.

Nydelig beliggenhet i stille og rolig område. Fine turstier til Falstadskogen. Innholdsrik matpakkefrokost.

Cons:

Dusjen var litt "åpen", slik at badegulvet ble vått. Manglet svaber.

Clam place to rest on your roadtrip.
Pros:

Spacey and clean. Not that we needed it, but accessible to wheelchair users. Staff as really kind and helpful and even found a spot to have our motorcycles a bit more hidden from plain view. Not that you need that in Norway (let alone in that location), but old habits die hard, I guess.

Cons:

Breakfast was really not up to par. They prepare a bag for you with what they think you might want under the idea to be environmentally friendly and avoid food waste. The reality is that you end up with single dose containers for jam, butter, cheese, etc. They even wrap some salami in plastic wrap. I am all for protecting our environment, but this wasn’t it. Also the bread was kept inside the bag, which was in the fridge, which is a bad idea.

Pros:

Det viktigste med Falstadsenteret er historien det forteller. Det gjør dypt inntrykk å være på et sted hvor så mye vondt har foregått, særlig Falstadskogen. Utstillingene var veldig fine, særlig de personlige beretningene til tidligere fanger gjorde inntrykk. Overnattingen og prisen var helt fin.

Omgivningarna med närhet till havet. Lärorikt med fördjupning av vårt grannlands dystra krigsår.

Cons:

Vi var väldigt få gäster och förstår att full frukostbuffé inte kunde vara aktuell, men saknade bland annat ägg i någon form.
