War okay, Kakao habe ich nicht gesehen
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut. Der Frühstücksbereich im Garten war sehr schön. Durch eine Futterstelle wurden viele verschiedene Vögel angelockt.
Das Zimmer sehr geräumig. Es gab eine Kaffeemaschine und Kaffee umsonst.

Cons:

Die Vermieterin sprechen nur spanisch. Das Frühstück war nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Es gab Gallo Pinto, Pancakes und Obst, Es wurde einfach auf den Tisch gestellt. Geschmack war gut und es wurde direkt frisch zubereitet
Das schmutzige Geschirr wurde dann direkt in einer großen Blechschüssel abgewaschen. Fand ich nicht so hygienisch.
Das Waschbecken im Bad hatte nur einen Kaltwasseranschluss.

Kleine grüne Oase
Pros:

Wunderbarer Garten mit unzähligen Blumen und Futterstelle für Vögel, kann man beim Frühstück beobachten. Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr freundlich. Schöne Zimmer. Leckeres Restaurant ca 150m entfernt (Yeyes Restaurante), sehr zu empfehlen!

Cons:

Man kann die Straße etwas hören, das liegt ja vor allem an den oft lauten Motorrädern… würde trotzdem wiederkommen :)

Agréable endroit
Pros:

Endroit très sympathique au contact de la nature pour observer des grenouilles la nuit et des oiseaux le matin. Très bien localiser pour aller au parc Tenorio, et aller se restaurer le soir. Petit déjeuner parfait

Cons:

Situé en bordure de route, on entend le bruit des motos le soir.
Lorsque les personnes de la chambre à côté prennent leur douche en même temps, il y a une très forte réduction de l'eau

Pros:

Das Zimmer war groß und sauber und man konnte vor der Tür auf dem Gang sitzen und in die Natur schauen. Das Frühstück wurde von 2 netten Damen serviert und war sehr gut und ausreichend. Von der Stadt hatten wir uns mehr versprochen, aber dafür kann die Lodge ja nichts. Fußläufig war ein Soda zu erreichen, wo man abends noch unkompliziert und gut essen konnte. Wir waren eine Nacht auf der Durchreise hier und dafür war es völlig in Ordnung.

Cons:

Man konnte das Zimmer nicht richtig verdunkeln und die Gardinenstangen fielen ständig runter beim Zuziehen der Vorhänge. Das es morgens durch den Straßenlärm sehr laut werden kann, daran gewöhnt man sich in Costa Rica. Allerdings bellte auch der Nachbarshund die halbe Nacht. Morgens wurden wir dann auch noch von Brüllaffen geweckt - das werte ich aber als Pluspunkt, da es ein einmaliges Erlebnis in Costa Rica für uns war.

Estancia maravillosa
Pros:

Nos hospedamos en el mes de febrero en este hermoso lodge. Tanto el lugar como el equipo que lo atiende, es encantador. Siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades y nos dieron muchas recomendaciones de actividades para hacer. El desayuno, fue inmejorable y delicioso.Angello, Doris, Yarelis y Lorena, estamos muy agradecidas por el trato recibido! Un abrazo grande!

Cela peut être un peu bruyant avec les véhicules. Mais avec des bouchons d’oreilles c’est ok

Lovely place with lovely people!
Pros:

Kakao lodge is located close to stores and restaurants. It was super convenient to get to the Tenorio NP. The staff were lovely and helpful. The building is surrounded by nature - there’s frogs and beautiful birds everywhere! Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also exceptional and served in a cute garden. 10/10

Cons:

Internet was a bit slow but it didn’t matter!

we would definitely stay there again
Pros:

Beautiful birds in the trees next to the breakfast restaurant. 10 dollars US for breakfast was a great addition. Walking distance to a local restaurant for dinner, grocery is also walking distance a couple blocks away.

Cons:

Our foreign language knowledge is duo lingo basics so communication with staff was a bit challenging.
