Lush, lovingly care for, high quality guesthouse exceeded expectations. Practical & dreamy.
Pros:

The gorgeous gardening & aesthetic throughout, by daylight or romantically lit at night kept me so happy that I rarely left the compound. The warmly heated pool, fresh deck with ample towels, lounges, side tables, and extending umbrellas massive enough to stay outside in the rain w/coffee & laptop; the high quality finishes & linens with all the best amenities: a lean, hi-on-the-wall ac (quiet) & oscillating fan; the fridge & microwave with tableware (mostly disposable); fully stocked coffee station; even a bug zapper & dimmable lighting. Fresh water bottles & liquid soaps. The impressively equipped & stocked gym.

Cons:

The interior gym could use ac to counter the heat & humidity there. (But that didn't stop me from getting in 2 workouts)

Beautiful house and pool, with a few challenges during our stay.
Pros:

The house was beautiful, and the pool was lovely. The property also had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, which made our stay convenient and comfortable. It was also fun getting to know the other guests during our stay.

Cons:

There was construction taking place at the property during our stay, which affected the experience. The owner also has a significant number of rules and restrictions for guests. On one day, the pool was unavailable for approximately six hours while it was being cleaned.

During our stay, the owner also displayed a national flag that some guests may find concerning or uncomfortable.

I would provide additional details about our experience, but following my previous review, the owner sent me several text messages that I perceived as threatening. For that reason, I am limiting this review to the factual observations above.

The host and facilities were excellent. It was lovely to stay somewhere and meet other travelers. The location was also great -- only a 10 minute walk away from the pavillion.

A wonderful property and gracious hosts. Would highly recommend.
Pros:

The property is gorgeous. Incredible gardens and pool. Rooms are well appointed. Very comfortable bed. Tons of chargers. Bathroom with all the necessities.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a great, tranquil stay in the Pines. You’re close enough to all
Pros:

The property is ideally located far enough away from the partying and also very near the beach. So tranquil and inviting as the landscaping is immaculate as is the staging of the pool area. All necessities for beach going or pool lounging are provided and the gym is a great bonus.

Comfy and relaxing stay on Fire Island
Pros:

What an amazing house and room! Fully furnished with plenty of towels, soap, and anything else you might need for a short stay on Fire Island. The owner was also very chill and accommodating whenever I needed something. The pool was excellent too. Checking in and out was a breeze. I would definitely come back.
