The Pines Men-Only Stay

A genuine sanctuary in the Pines. From the moment you arrive, it feels as though everything has been thought of — beautifully considered, rather comfortable and wonderfully private.

The location is perfect for the beach, with everything one needs provided. Back at the house, the warm, welcoming pool is an absolute joy and makes it equally tempting to spend the day there, sitting idle.

The rooms are beautiful, simple and comfortable, with air conditioning and direct access from the pool area, giving you privacy and independence. Small details stand out, namely the amenities, including genuinely great coffee.

A plus: the host is warm, friendly and welcoming, while giving you all the space you want to enjoy the property as your own.

Fire Island Pines can be quite full-on, which makes having somewhere this peaceful to retreat to all the more special. It really does feel like your own little sanctuary in the middle of it all. I will defintely return.

My stay was perfect. This is a wonderfully simple way to enjoy all that Fire Island has to offer, meet new people and have a hassle-free stay. If you want privacy and quiet, you always have that in your room. If you want to be social and enjoy chatting with new people, including the host, the pool (nice and warm!) is perfect for that. Shout out to whomever does the gardening. It feels like you are in a well-tamed rainforest.

The rooms are (nice) hotel-level, and everything in them is clean and new ... sheets, towels, everything you need for the beach. You don't have to pack much and you don't have to think about it. I've stayed in a few different places on Fire Island, and this one is better. A great host, too.

Staying with Michael was awesome— perfect blend of relaxing and social. The bed was super comfy, the pool temperature was just right, and everyone I met there was friendly.

The property was clean, beautifully maintained, and provided the perfect, relaxing beach getaway. The host made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our entire stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect Fire Island escape.

Honestly one of the most peaceful stays I’ve had, and I go to Fire Island all the time so that’s saying a lot! This place is a total hidden oasis, so serene and quiet, I’ve never come across a spot on the island this calm and beautiful. The garden is gorgeous, and the heated pool made every day feel like a little private retreat. Loved how much privacy you get here too, no feeling like anyone’s around, just pure relaxation.

Beds were so comfortable, honestly some of the best sleep I’ve gotten on a trip haha.

And the host?? So kind and welcoming, made everything easy from start to finish. Anytime I had a question he was right there to help, no hassle at all. You can tell he genuinely cares about making your stay great.

Can’t wait to come back!! Highly recommend if you want that quiet, relaxing Fire Island escape 🙂

The gorgeous gardening & aesthetic throughout, by daylight or romantically lit at night kept me so happy that I rarely left the compound. The warmly heated pool, fresh deck with ample towels, lounges, side tables, and extending umbrellas massive enough to stay outside in the rain w/coffee & laptop; the high quality finishes & linens with all the best amenities: a lean, hi-on-the-wall ac (quiet) & oscillating fan; the fridge & microwave with tableware (mostly disposable); fully stocked coffee station; even a bug zapper & dimmable lighting. Fresh water bottles & liquid soaps. The impressively equipped & stocked gym.

The house was beautiful, and the pool was lovely. The property also had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, which made our stay convenient and comfortable. It was also fun getting to know the other guests during our stay.

Michael was very friendly and communicative.

The host and facilities were excellent. It was lovely to stay somewhere and meet other travelers. The location was also great -- only a 10 minute walk away from the pavillion.

What a wonderful property! Magical garden and pool with a super relaxed atmosphere. Host Michael makes this a fab place to unwind and enjoy the Pines at its fullest. We highly recommend!

It was so beautifully decorated the flowers and the trees. The pool was so classy. The room was very clean and orderly. Everything was paid attention to the coffee bar the refrigerator of the microwave the toilet toiletries the shower, the towels. It was just amazing. Everything was thought about the details were

It’s a great place to just be in the moment and enjoy the quiet amidst what going on outside the compound. A 10 or of 10 and I will be back.

The property is gorgeous. Incredible gardens and pool. Rooms are well appointed. Very comfortable bed. Tons of chargers. Bathroom with all the necessities.
