Die Lage war sehr gut

Schlechtes Frühstück, nicht mal ein Ei gab es, nur ein Gipfeli, hartes Brot 2 Scheiben Käse, Salami und ein Schinken. Keine Früchte, Joghurt und Ei war nicht mal auf Wunsch möglich.

Preis Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht. Wir haben am Abend einen kleinen Apero dort genommen, bis die 2 Gläser Wein serviert wurden mussten wir 20 min warten - Kosten 35 Fr. Einfach unverschämt. Etwas zum Knapperen dazu wurde nicht serviert.

ich kann dieses Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen

das Frühstück war gut

ich habe versehentlich das Zimmer für 1 Person gebucht Preis 530.60 mit Frühstück, habe umgehend gemeldet dass wir 2 Personen sind. bei der Abreise musste ich noch 237.60 Aufpreis für 2. Person bezahlen. das ist Total 768.20, ein Zimmer mit Frühstück für 2 Personen kostet nächste Woche 468.00. Ich hatte schon 530.60 für 1 Person bezahlt. der Totalpreis von 768.20 ist eine Frechheit. Die Zimmeraussicht war deprimierend, Aussicht aus dem Fenster war in ein Lichtschacht 3x3 Meter.

Fijne plek midden in Locarno
Pros:

Nette leuk ingerichte kamer, fijne badkamer en goede verlichting inclusief sfeerverlichting. Fijn dat er een lift was. Wat echt het allerbeste was: het ontbijt, super lekker croissantje en brood! En dat midden in het centrum!

Cons:

Het is zelf check-in, dat vinden wij helemaal prima, maar mocht je een receptie willen, die heb je niet.

Für wenige Nächten super geeignet oder bei kulturellen Anlässen, bei denen dir Lage wichtig ist
Pros:

Die Lage war als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ideal, da öV in direkter Nähe war. Auch fürs Essen, ist es praktisch direkt an der Piazza Grande zu sein.
Frühstück war ganz gut, zwar ohne Buffet, aber lecker, das Personal war überwiegend sehr freundlich!

Cons:

Der Lärm in der Nacht (Stimmen von der Piazza, Arbeitslärm, Taubengurren), wobei das nur wirklich störend ist bei geöffnetem Fenster. Dass war nur deswegen nötig, da die Klimaanlage im Zimmer nicht funktionstüchtig war und es sonst zu warm gewesen wäre.

Attentive staff, convinient location, nice breakfast…but needs to prioritize comfort for guests , like working AC.
Pros:

Location was perfect and the staff was excellent. Breakfast was the right amount of food

Cons:

Our AC unit did not work and there was no airflow at all. We were moved to a new room the next day but again, the AC did not work. The staff was very helpful but if the ACs are not working during the summer, this is a big problem and has an effect on comfort. Especially, when you need proper sleep for hiking and exploring.

Great value for the money, great staff, great breakfast
Pros:

Very friendly staff, helpful and proactive. Nice terrace for having breakfast, with great food and plenty of choices. We left very early in the morning and they were so nice to prepare food and coffee for us before the restaurant opened. Clean and modern room, plus a comfy bed.

Cons:

Our room was facing the street, was very loud until late in the night and very early in the morning again. This is although a disadvantage of having accommodation so close to the center and train station.

Modernes Hotel, sehr zentral
Pros:

Schönes Hotel mitten in der Altstadt von Locarno. 5-10 Minuten zum Bahnhof, 5 Minuten zum Hafen, gleich bei der Piazza Grande. Sehr modern. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht, von welchem aus wir das Treiben auf der Piazza Grande beobachten konnten. Das Frühstück wird im Restaurant gleich unterhalb des Hotels serviert und ist sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist äusserst freundlich und schnell. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Cons:

Nicht negativ aber erwähnenswert: Das Hotel selbst hat kein Personal, alles, inklusive „Zimmerschlüssel“, erhält man per E-Mail. Für uns war das kein Problem und praktisch. Eine Anfrage per Mail an die Rezeption in Ascona wurde sehr schnell beantwortet.
Einzig die Informationen zum Frühstück etc. musste etwas in den verschiedenen E-Mails zusammengesucht werden. Das könnte man allenfalls noch etwas verbessern.
