misrepresented location. no grounds. not lovely surroundings
misrepresented location. no grounds. not lovely surroundings, unattractive eating place; no nice town nearby
Parfait! Merci!
Ne pas pouvoir rester plus longtemps!
Breakfast was a feast of delight, the best breakfast I have eaten anywhere in the World
Madame, the owner's wife. She was impolite, she did not address me personally but talked to a member of staff over my head and in a rude manner, not a good advert for such a special place.
Beautiful property in a bastide village
Excellent decor
Somewhat dark inside
BREAKFAST IS A SORE POINT WITH THIS HOTEL AND MY EXPERIENCE
THE HOSTESS/MADAME OF THE ESTABLISHMENT. RUDE. UNOBLIGING AND VERY UNWELCOMING. SHE DOES NOT LIKE HAVING GUESTS, IT SEEMS TO BE AN UNNECESSARY EVIL.
I will never recommend nor re-visit this Hotel. We had a lovely dinner at the Le Poule restaurant. The next morning we ordered a cup of coffee and a croissant each. At check out, we were presented with a bill of 29 Euro each for the coffee and our croissant order. I queried this and Madame did not have the courtesy to come and talk to me, but rather used her staff (staff are lovely and friendly) to argue her point. Out of principle, I cannot pay 58,Euro for 2cups of coffee and a croissant and was adamant not to let her get away with such charges. Needless to say, it was an extremely uncomfortable situation that ended in her capitulating (begrudgingly) to a lower yet unprincipled charge of 20,00 Euro.
