A great no frills option.
Pros:

Location. Helpful man on the desk, Bo, spoke good English. Reasonable choice of breakfast.

Cons:

The coffee was not to my liking but the tea was fine. The bacon was square!!!

Adequate for the price.
Pros:

The room was very large and it was right on the river. There was a choice for breakfast and fruit was given with each meal. The location was good as most places are in this area of LP. This place had the hottest water for showers and out of the sink that I have ever had. AC worked fine.

Cons:

The water coming out of the faucet had a foul smell and I am not sure why that was. The room has no real windows so it can be a tad dark and claustrophobic.

Bel hôtel dans le centre historique de Luang Prabang
Pros:

Belles chambres, spacieuses, sans fenêtres mais avec chacune une petite terrasse/balcon. Petit déjeuner servis tous les matins, copieux et bon. Emplacement parfait pour visiter Luang Prabang (5 à 10 minutes à pied de tous les sites d’interêts).

Cons:

La salle de bain mériterait un rafraîchissement.

Un peu de moisissure dans la douche, les joint se n'étaient pas bien nettoyé.

Definitely recommend the Golden Lotus hotel.
Pros:

The attendant Bo was very courteous and helpful. Stayed in the room 1 and a half hour past my normal check out time due to my flight being later on. The facility had been very accommodating. Thank you.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok.

Good stay for one night
Pros:

It was a short stay for us, but the hotel had a great location and offered good value for a one-night stay, including a simple breakfast. It was an easy walk to both the night and morning markets. The rooms were decent and relatively clean, with well-functioning air conditioning and a separate shower and toilet.

Pros:

非常好。重点表扬前台值晚班的小哥哥，还有搞卫生的两个小姑娘。态度好，工作也细致。价格不贵，去寺庙，看布施，去大皇宫，早市全部步行可达。也可以坐船去对面的村里做手工。又不会太吵闹。位置超绝。全木的内饰，非常有自然的感觉。很适合我这种从小只在城市里生活的人出来度假住。我还带了9岁的女儿，孩子也很喜欢这个住宿。
老板可能以为是中国人不会英语，所以很少中国人订这个酒店。这里给个建议，其实是因为你的酒店英文名称里没有hotel这个词，而且有的顾客上传的是食物的照片，在中国常用的地图APP中又没有标注你家的名称，所以大家找不到，或者以为是个餐厅。强烈建议老板联系高德地图APP和百度地图APP，跟他们要求标注你家的位置并上传照片，这会帮助你获得大量订单。
