Pros:

Świetnie zlokalizowany hotel, przy samej stacji metra.
Obsługa posiada parasole na wynajem, są także bezpłatne akcesoria takie jak szczoteczki, herbaty itd tylko do zabrania z recepcji, a nie w pokoju. Dodatkowo w przestrzeni lobby jest darmowy automat z napojami i tanie automatu do prania i suszenia po 100 jenów za każde z nich.

Cons:

Bardzo mały pokój, wręcz klaustrofobiczny, dodatkowo widok na mur kolejnego budynku z oknem, które się wyłącznie uchyla na kilka centymetrów. Jest na tyle mało przestrzeni, że ledwo jest miejsce na rozłożenie walizki.

Good location, peaceful surroundings and great value
Pros:

Smile Hotel Kyoto is located in a very quiet area, right next to Gojo Subway Station. Gojo is only one stop from Kyoto Station on the Karasuma Subway Line, and Exit 8 is practically next to the hotel. If you have luggage, I recommend using Exit 5, which has lift access, and then it’s just about a 5-minute walk to the hotel.

The staff were very polite and always willing to help. I especially liked the housekeeping staff.
she was incredibly sweet, polite and clearly took pride in doing her job well.

The bed, linen and pyjamas were all clean and comfortable. The coin laundry was also reasonably priced compared with bigger cities like Tokyo and Osaka, and laundry detergent was available at reception for a very cheap price.

There’s a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. There’s also a large supermarket called Presco near the Kamo River. One of the things I really enjoyed about staying here was being able to take a peaceful walk along the river.

The room was, as expected, quite small, but considering the price and location, I felt it was a very good bargain and a comfortable base for exploring Kyoto.

Al lado del metro
Pros:

Buena ubicacion, al lado de una estacion de metro. Habia disponible te, cafe y bebidas en una maquina dispensadora de acceso libre.

Cons:

La almohada era muy dura y no tenian alternativas. El desayuno muy basico.

Pros:

L’emplacement ! Par contre l’hôtel n’est pas très visible on passe devant sans le remarquer!!!! Mais bon on fait demi tour 😀

Pros:

Breakfast was good. Good Wifi. Hotel is right next to the Gojo train station, which is 1 stop from the main Kyoto Station.

Cons:

The room was really small, and bathroom was claustrophobic. If you're 185cm or over you won't fit in the bathroom. The rooms are only cleaned once per 3 days, but they do change towels every day.
