Location and style
Bit warm in the eaves
Location was excellent. Rooms was comfortable with a fan for the hot weather.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Nothing really.
Very pleasant overnight stay

Beautiful hotel in the beautiful town of Nailsworth. Rooms were lovely
The room was of a high standard, it was too hot due to warm weather but a fan was provided.
There was no atmosphere, the place lacks ambience despite its potential. The staff team seem disjointed lacking basic customer care skills of being welcoming, friendly, conversational in their approach...this is not something that weve experienced before where staff seemed indifferent. An example of this was tripping on the wonky stair they have, not one member of staff enquired if I was okay only another customer showed concern
Very comfortable bed. Interesting architecture. Dog friendly.
We checked in online before arriving, but it still took a long time to pick up our room key on arrival. Whilst the room was generally nice, the toilet didn’t flush very well. We had dinner in their restaurant but didn’t get our main course until 1 hour 20 minutes after arriving. One of the dishes we ordered was luke warm and over seasoned. Our disappointment was tempered by the fact we were given a discount. We decided to go elsewhere for breakfast.
This was a lovely hotel to stay in , communication was excellent , as was the service and staff . We had a meal during our stay which was delicious and the facilities at the venue great . As the weather was warm fans had been put in the rooms to assist too . Would recommend and would return
We didn’t realise but we didn’t have a breakfast paid for within our price . Maybe something we missed but to be aware of
Beautiful location
Rooms had no A/C and windows couldn’t open. Not suitable for a warm summer.
Not much
Everything
Breakfast very good 。healthy and fresh server excellent
Wonderful location in a historic building
We had a riom under the eaves with a very small window and given the current heatwave had a very uncomfortable night’s sleep.
Every single staff member that we spoke with was extremely kind, welcoming, and really keen to help us out with whatever query we had! We got checked in very quickly, and we're super happy with our room! The room was clean and tidy. We had a fan provided and a few extra cute little things that made us feel even more welcome. More importantly, the bathroom was also very clean.
Dinner-wise, the menu was quite large with a lot of choices. Portion sizes were great, taste was excellent, and staff members were very kind and welcoming once again! For the breakfast, the pick and choose table was quite limited, however, one was speaking to the waiters, we were allowed to get the basic breakfast items like egg or toast.
There was not much to dislike about this place, however, a few little things worth noting:
- The tiny milk bottle left in our room for coffee had gone a little sour due to the hot day.
- The room didn't have a tiny fridge, which we expected it to have, but that was no big problem as we just asked the staff members to put our food in the big fridge, which they did.
- The service at the restaurant took slightly longer than usual, but that was also offset by their kindness and great food.
Brilliant stay - was an emergency booking when our plans were forced to change. Excellent facilities and very professional staff and lovely food. Thank you!
All was great.
Amazing little hideaway. Rooms were fab and the staff were great. The whole place has a really chilled vibe…. The service , food , live singer were exceptional. The “gold dust “‘is the beer garden and dining area. Truly worth this visit alone
