Guests should kindly note that the property is a popular wedding venue, and as a result there may some noise disturbance in the evening. Nonsmoking hotel. Please note, the bedrooms with attached bathroom are located over four different buildings; the Main Building, Mill House and Jones Building. Please be aware that the rooms in the Main building are above the property's function suite and guests may experience some noise if a function is being held. Guests looking for a quiet stay should call the hotel to check which room they have been allocated. Kindly note the property cannot process payments from American Express credit cards, and an alternative card will be required. Please note that reservation of 5 or more rooms is considered a group reservation and group terms apply. These are available on request.

Beautifully appointed room. Very comfortable. Sympathetic conversion of the old mill buildings. The restaurant was lovely at the food really good, as was the service in the evening and at breakfast
Only thing wax when we were eating we were quite near the kitchen and the kitchen staff were really noisy! Small thing

Parking. I entered my details into the hotel tablet as instructed, gave since received 2 parking notices for fines totalling £200. Have challenged the parking co and apart from an auto email reply have heard nothing. Online reviews of the parking co (Smart Parking Ltd) say they are unprofessional and not good to deal with.
Room. I paid for the best room and got a sweat pit in a basement with one tiny pavenent level window. It did not match my expectation.. Overpriced for what it was.
Room was delux double spacious and clean. Food in restaurant was lovely. Staff friendly and helpful.
Alarm went off at 7.45 and didnt sleep well

It was so peaceful and very relaxing sitting by the river watching the fish
Only issue is that we had no hot water so couldn’t shower

Sunday lunch was OK, meat was nicely cooked, but a shame the vegetables were not served separately as it made the meal too large.

I liked the fact that we were in a separate block from the pub. The room was clean and comfy. The chefs biscuits were amazing and there was a bottle of water for us both.
