First of all, I would like to express my disappointment, angriness, filled with a whole unpleasant experience. When I came to the UK, I expected to have a great time from the beginning, which started only a day after I moved from there (only one day, thankfully).
When I came to the location which was given on booking.com and called the owner, he told me that my room was not ready. For the clear information: the check in is at 2pm, and I called him at 8pm. He explained the situation and stated that there was a misunderstanding and they haven’t cleaned the room, which was a mess when I came in (the bed was not prepared, yet overall it wasn’t a worst case scenario, which is why I agreed to stay there with a partial refund). It was a self check in, so he sent me videos via Whatsapp (how to get the location etc), and explained me where to get pillowcase sheet, duvet cover, which were in the laundry!!! I had no energy to find another place and could not be sure if he will refund a full amount of my payment. He convinced me saying that no one wants to cancel the booking and it would be better for me as well since it was late (5-6pm is already dark outside).

I said that it was not right to do so since I booked a place and it should have been cleaned and prepared already and got the answers which were not appropriate “As I told already, … Wifi code is sent on the video, watch it.. etc”. Not only was not the room ready, he was also rude.

After a couple of days, I sent him a message on whatsapp asking for refund, the amount of which I still did not know and still have not had a chance to get to know since I have not received any refund!!

I demand to refund the full amount of my payment which is 49£.

L'armoire dans le chambre n°1 à faillie tomber en morceau car pas solidariser à avec le mur donc pas utilisé.
POINT REDIBITOIRE ET TRÈS MAUVAIS POUR LE PROPRIÉTAIRE . Sous la chambre n°1 il y a le restaurant Perse "LE CHELO"
celui-ci à fait de la musique très très fort tous les soir et surtout toute la nuit de dimanche le 8 au lundi le 9 mars 2026.
Je n'ai pas dormi de la nuit. C'était insupportable. J'en ai fait part à notre hôte. Mais il ne peut rien y faire soi disant.....

La cour est vraiment très sale et pas entretenu. Dommage car cela terni l'image des chambres et le bâtiment est mal entretenu également.

Arrivés dans un dépotoir au niveau de l’entrée. Les parties communes n’étaient pas propres, un mélange entre le non respect des autres occupants et également un manque d’acidité du ménage.
Des poiles sous le matelas, et la chambre s’entait mauvais à notre arrivée.
Rien pour accrocher les serviettes dans la chambre, peu d’équipement.

Strange check-in procedure - I arrived an hour after check-in and the room wasn't ready for another hour after that. Staff seemed surprised I was there.
