Lots of common areas, nice owner and delicious food in the restaurant. And the village itself is in the middle of hiking trails with fresh and clean air and beautiful views all around.
If what you're looking for is a place to disconnect, be in the nature, talk to strangers, work, read a book, or anything that is close to your heart, this is the right place to be! I wouldn't call it a fancy hotel, which is not even the purpose of it, but a very cozy and modern big "country house" with attached restaurant (which has a top chef, by the way).
The hosts were absolutely amazing and kind, and were treating you like an old friend from the start.
This has been one of the few places that are certainly "must return in a few weeks".
Can't find anything :)
The concept is really great: rest and work, socialize, the design is very nice and you can tell host invested a lot of taste and money into building it
The onboarding and communication: nothing was clear and structured. No facility to have tea or coffee while they have hugely equipped kitchen we were told it wasn’t for guests but they will “invite us” to use their hospitality. At the same time in the room there is no tea pot. So basically you’re invited only to use over expensive restaurant. The restaurant was same expensive as if it would be in yerevan, the food was so so (eggs were served half cooked to my husband and we were the only one to use that restaurant). We had to find another place to have proper Armenian bbq food at affordable price. There was a group of four people who came with whole packs of food that they were told they can’t cook at first. The door to the balcony was locked forever as other guest took the key. The coworkers space lacked internet connection so I had to ask for an additional router
The staff is very friendly and that's the only positive side of my experience😢
The room costs as much as a good hotel room, but it's very far from hotel. The whole building is from wood, so whenever someone is walking on any floor, it can wake you up. The bathroom doors are slider doors, which are not fully closable, so it feels like there is no door at all.
The kitchen concept is to have coffee, tea, sweets as in coworkings - but not only all coffee containers were empty, but coffee machine and other staff was too dirty to use.
The restaurant was good quality, although it costs as much as having dinner in Yereven, Cascade.
I wouldn't be this upset if the price corresponded to the quilty, but it didn't.
It's the kind of place you tell your friends and family about. Cozy room, helpful staff, great location.
It's totally my style of life - modern, comfortable living with all the benefits of the xxi century, but in the middle of a cosy quiet village surrounded by amazing nature.
Love it and definitely come back.
All was great.
The food was exceptional, especially the breakfast menu. I would even come back only just for food. Not mentioning about the nature and how the building itself is harmonic to it.
Usually the weather in Debed isn't hot, but on the day of check in it was hot and there was need of air conditioner. This is more like suggestion, rather than a complain.
Debed Life CoLiving Retreat is a superb guest house. So grateful to Tatevik and her family for creating this little wonder in Lori. We wanted to see all the cathedrals and little towns and Tatevik organised a driver, who after 3 days driving together became our friend. The village itself is lovely, we enjoyed walking around, seeing how people live and their gardens, the river and the most beautiful nature around. We were even invited over for a coffee by some friendly locals. The room was stylish, with antique rugs and elegant decor, the bed was cosy. Oh and the food - delicious. Make sure to have dinner or lunch or both. Perfect for vegans too. Everyone who works there are so nice and sweet. I'm absolutely going to stay here again and highly recommend this place. Shat shat shnurakalyatsun!

The restaurant is overpriced for the location and the food offered.
