Poor experience. First of all when I arrived I was asked to pay extra money because as per the hotel they didn't have rooms at the rate I booked. Also I paid via OYO rooms Channel but they said that they aren't a part of the chain anymore. I argued that then they should ensure their hotel's name doesn't pop up on booking.com or OYO rooms website but they were non chalant about it and asked me to talk to customer care. They did tell me though that if I wouldnt have paid online then they could have done something. But I had got a mail from OYO saying that rooms are on demand and I would need to make a partial or full payment. Anyway, I was tired after a long journey and I had my elderly mother with me as well so I paid. Next, the room was overpriced. The bed was too big for the room and there was hardly space to walk. The surfaces were dusty. The bathroom was clean though. One pillow cover looked used. The duvet cover and bedsheets could have been cleaner. The door lock wasn't working properly and I had to call the reception every time I needed to unlock the door. Too much noise from the lift and its welcome music late into the night, sounds of loud conversations even from the neighbouring rooms could be heard. I had my stay booked for 5 nights but I booked elsewhere and moved out after 2 nights because it was unbearable to stay there. Overpriced lodge is what I would call it. Thanks to the kind gentlemen at the reception who helped us with our luggage on arrival and departure.
