Other then there was a roach in the bathroom crawling super fast right when we got into the room

When i arrived the hotel was unstaffed. I had to talk to someone on a kiosk. They told me the hotel was under renovation, and i had to go to another hotel. That hotel was run down.

Clean room, comfortable bed.

Hotel was really run down. Pool was out of service and looked like it had been out of service for months? years? because the tarp covering had so much dust on it. The public men’s bathroom was not functioning and the women’s bathroom was used as a storage with no toilets in it. Hallway carpets were disgusting. Ice machine had no ice. This place is part of Ecocolodge? Has Econolodge sign outside. It needs to be demolished and rebuilt.

I stayed 3 nights. I could not get my tv to work. I went down to the front desk and they tell me they’d come in the morning. No one shows up. Again, I go down later in the afternoon. 3 workers r at the desk and said, no one came down? I said, no. They speak in a foreign language while I stand there like an idiot. Say they will b down in a few minutes. Never show. Pool was unavailable. Did not know that ahead of time. Ridiculous. I try to do something about it and get a refund when I get home. They say I needed to call while I was there. Why would I call when I was there? I talked to them several times. Pure frustration.

Warning, do not stay at this dump. Black mold in the showers ,dirty linen , stains on the floor, pool was out of order with mold and algae growing in it. I don’t hold know how the City of Stevens Point has not shut them down. We will be reporting them.

Door wouldn’t close properly, sheets were stained, 3 remotes for 1 tv, pool and hot tub wasn’t working, and smelt awful.

This hotel was just meh. It needed a really good cleaning. And the grounds looked run down. The staff was very friendly.

I tried calling 3 times to tell them I would be delayed and would be checking in late, and was told each time they were busy and I would have to call back. When I finally got through, no one made a note. When I called the next day to confirm my arrival, I had to go through the whole discussion again. The first room reeked of cat pee. When I complained, they gave me another room that reeked of cigarette smoke. I was told that was their last room available. I ended up staying with a friend. When I told hotels.com, I was told the hotel had cancelled my original reservation as a "no-show" and made a new one, paid for with the hotels.com funds. That meant I couldn't get a refund. My worst hotel experience ever!

Great property. The property is dated; however, they were renovating the property.
Staff was great. Property was quiet.
I would stay there again.

Pool was not working. Check in took over an hour we and we were only ones checking in.

The king size room we booked online was not available. Property is in the process of being renovated as it is under new ownership. Person checking us in said “there was no king size bed available. Well there was one room but the door didn’t lock, we could have that if we didn’t mind.”
Then get to the room and it was just not good. Dirty, and so far away from the front desk. And the hotel wasn’t the at full. This morning we went to take a shower and there was no hot water. AT ALL. Not like warm nothing just cold. The room seemed to have a door with an adjoining room. The door was made of some flimsy board and had a chair pushed in front of it. ?? Noisy people in halls. When we checked out this morning the young man at the front desk was pleasant and took care of us just fine. When we mentioned our experience he said we never should have been put in that part of the hotel. It is in bad repair and is and currently being used by the workers that are hired to renovate the building. We would have left right away but since we booked on line we knew we couldn’t get a refund. We knew it was under new ownership and was ok with some repair work going on and it was our choice to not do a chain hotel. Wanted to give the new up and coming owner the business. Disappointing. You should consider removing this option from your listing until they can get the place under control. Terrible experience except for the nice young man who checked us out this morning.

There was roaches in multiple rooms,brought it to the attention of the front desk and the 3 times we were moved each room we documented roaches and other insects. Don't know if I'll be returning.

Very dirty conditions,mold in the bathtub and toilet, not safe for kids... rails on second floor are to apart and kids can fall to the pool area...

We have stayed here many times and recommend this place to everyone. They have been improving the place Everytime we go. The owners are great very hospitable n caring people we will be back
