The Rectory worked well for us as a final pitstop to see family before heading home to Australia.
Pros:

Good location for visiting family in Bicester; huge room - loads of space to sort out our bags before heading to Heathrow; lovely owners; interesting village with pub, cafe and store nearby.

Cons:

No shower - this isn't completely clear from the description. It wasn't a huge issue for us though.

A stunning, private, and comfortable home with exceptional hosts, ideal for Tythe Barn weddings
Pros:

Our stay at Tom and Becky's place was brilliant. The village and house were absolutely stunning, and the room, though part of the main house, felt incredibly private. It was spacious, impeccably comfortable, and had everything we needed. Tom and Becky were exceptional hosts, going out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel really welcome. The location is ideal, especially for anyone attending a wedding at the nearby Tythe Barn. We couldn't have asked for a better experience – thank you both!

Cons:

I initially didn't realise, due to the Booking.com system, that this was a room in a home rather than a hotel (sorry for my funny questions to you in the first place Tom!). However, it didn’t matter at all because the space was fantastic – it feels like a full apartment! So, it was entirely my fault for not reading the listing carefully. Only mentioning it as a heads-up for future guests, so you can bring your own breakfast items etc.

Spoke to the owners and they were both very nice, comfy bed and I'd stay again %100
Pros:

Spacious room, wardrobe, comfy bed, warm welcome and the even I was attending was right next door so I got to stay in comfort while having the convenience of the location.

Cons:

There wasn't anything not to like, I like having a shower but it was nice to have a bath :)

A wonderful discovery both of the area and a family with a warm and welcoming heart.
Pros:

Rebecca, Tom and their delightful family including Wally were welcoming,helpful and interested and overall, amazing hosts who made us feel very welcome and at home. They gave us loads of information and helpful tips which made our purposeful stay very worthwhile - thank you all :-))

Great location if your going to a wedding at Tythe Barn.
Pros:

Early check in was not a problem and ideal as we were attending a wedding at Tythe Barn. Very friendly and welcoming. Room was very large and well kept. Perfect for our one night stay! Thank you!

Really comfortable and enjoyable stay
Pros:

Hosts were super friendly and helpful when we arrived, room was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We were staying for a wedding at the Tythe Barn and it couldn't have been easier to walk over to the venue from here!
