Hotel Saheb's Castle McLeodganj

This was my second stay at this hotel, and have revisited it (2023, 2025) and it never disappointed me, an absolutely delightful experience. You are greeted with a splendid mountain view in the balcony, that instantly set a calming tone for the stay. The room was spacious, clean, and gives you an ease of stay required.
The location of the hotel is perfectly tucked away from noise and crowds, offering a quiet, serene environment ideal for relaxation, you can take morning /evening walks to see the surreal environment. Despite being in such a peaceful spot, it was still easily accessible and well-connected. You can explore the McLeod Ganj market by taking a cab (10 mins). The hotel staff can arrange that for you. Surprisingly Lemon tree is just adjacent, yet the spot captured by Saheb Castle will give you a more defined view. The picture attached show the spot of Saheb Castle.
What impressed me most was that all of this came at a very affordable price, making it a fantastic value-for-money stay. Whether you're looking to unwind, enjoy nature, or simply escape city chaos, this hotel is a wonderful choice.

Lack of facilities can be compensated by sincere service to guests. This property is a prime example of great service quietly without hullabaloo by simple folks taking care of the property. We loved our stay because of them. Our morning walks were made interesting by couple of dogs who escorted us and brought us back safe. Location provides great views of the pine tree valley of Dauladhar. Cherry Blossom along the roads is another reason to choose this property. A good vacation made memorable by Saheb's Castle.

Great service - the best part of our stay! The food is cooked fresh on premises and tastes like home cooked meals. Easy access to taxi services and close to McLeodganj. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed.

The views from our room were breathtaking. The hotel is quiet far out of the town but taxis were good and cheap . The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was nice but the hotel could do with some refurbished and care and attention. Shabby in certain areas. Food in the restaurant was ok. Breakfast was good on the first morning but after that the buffet breakfast stopped and only basics available. All in all we enjoyed our stay and we would recommend.

Good location, ambient environment and kudos to staff as well for everything. Keep up the good work.

The location is good with no other property around, yet. The views of Dhauladhar is breathtaking.
The people are super sweet. I left my laptop on the property by mistake and Vikas, the manager called when I was at least 50 kms away. He ensured that the laptop reached me safe and sound. A rarity for the honesty and committment exhibited. Much thanks to Vikas and the staff of Saheb castle. Please book your room facing the mountains and you won't regret.
The food was very simple and they even went that extra mile to make thukpa for us, which otherwise was not on the menu.

Can't wait to go back and unwind.
