The view and the location to the Vulcan National Park. Restaurant staff is very nice and breakfast was good.
It’s a wooden hut without any isolation. It’s freezing cold and the owner did not respond to any questions on what’s app. The small heater in the room is doing nothing. The shower did not have hot water. Absolutely to avoid.

The place could be great if it wasn’t so cold. They don’t have a heater and at night it was freezing. It’s too pricey for a place without heater.
Interesting place, a perfect point to start a visit to the Volcano Poás, outstanding view from the room, very kind and helpful staff and very good food in the restaurant. Good prices. Little complaint: it was quite cold inside during the night.
Very quiet property, close to the National Park Volcán Poás. The restaurant there serves great food, great attention form the staff too. Good price.
Jut nitpicking here, one or two chair in the room would have been useful. Th stairs to get to our room were killing.
No A/C , no hot water , no fridge. Nice view, but very simple.
Great location and beautiful views. The staff was lovely.
There isn't a front desk so when we had to use all the towels in our room to block the lake that was forming by our door we didn't have anywhere to ask for more or help with the issue. Our room was wet and freezing (#3), but our kids' room number 4 was dry, warm and lovely so if you have a choice take that one. Ours had big gaps in the door where the rain and wind came in.

Expensive for what it was. No offer of help from staff to carry case in.

Nobody was there to let us in. Luckily the store next door was open and was able to contact the owner to get us the code for the door. Restaurant was closed. Shower was barely usable. Extremely basic room.
