Schon klar, es ist Nebensaison, allerdings ist es sehr befremdlich, wenn man sich nach 22 Uhr mit der Handylampe durchs Gebäude bewegen muss weil alle Lichter aus sind. Hinsichtlich Bar und Essen war Frangipani nebenan deutlich aufgeweckter.

Bijzondere ervaring. Er waren geen gasten alleen 2 bruiloften. Het personeel zei weinig en hielp ook niet echt. We voelden ons een bekeken. Hotel heeft geen ligbedden aan het strand.

Doors and gate to the hotel were locked by 10pm, therefore we was locked out till security game to open the gate at the front of the property.
Both days had weddings during the day which stared before 9am that took place in the lobby with drums, making it very awkward to walk through and use the facilities and also very loud - good luck if you want a lie in.
Breakfast was awful. Basically, we felt a hindrance on the first morning. Breakfast runs 8 till 10 am. We turned up at 8.15am and felt the staff were frustrated that they had to get stuff back out. The next day, the coffee was cold for ages, and there was no basics out and no staff to ask.
There was also no fridge in the room, which was disappointing, but this wasn't advertised.
Hairdryer...pointless.
Overall, disappointing and not worth the money. We felt unwanted guests.

Het hotel was rommelig en de spa was helaas gesloten. Omdat er in Tangalle zelf al niet veel te doen was (wat het hotel natuurlijk niet te verwijten valt), was het extra jammer dat het hotel geen prettige uitvalsbasis bleek te zijn.

Poor light in the bathroom and plastic cover on the mattress was a bit unpleasant.

Wifi wasn’t good

We stayed at this property 3 years ago. We felt it had gone down in its standard. We had no hot water for the 3 nights of our stay, however the manager to give a refund on the cost. The outside area did not have an attendant and it was not always possible to get a sun bed as people left towels on them and did not return..

Management should forbid playing games as billiard and ping pong at nights in the lobby

I use a rating as one of my filters for choosing hotels and the 8.5 rating seems suspiciously high. They dont service the room automatically, and when they did it seems that a room service was emptying the bin and putting more water in the room - in the end after being asked they did a full service on the room (I thought it was odd to ask for this given it is a hotel). Be prepared to be asked to settle your bill in USD Cash. I said I did want to do that and in the end they agreed that I could pay by credit card.

The door into the bathroom was really not possible to close properly or lock. We asked the stuff, they checked and sometimes it worked, but not all the time. The food was very very bad. We had every day breakfast and once we payed for the dinner, but the offer was very poor, we could barely chose anything to eat and the taste was not good. And the barells for water were very dirty, so we did not try to drink water in the restaurant. So if you will stay here, i recommend to have meals somewhere else.

We stayed with friends and their room on the ground floor had a damp wall (I'm writing this in good faith...so that it can be fixed)

The beds were very hard and breakfast was ok. The hotel needs a little tender loving care. Also one of the outdoor very very large glass panels at entry broke and smashed and could have killed someone. Very very lucky that no one for hurt
