Very small rooms!
I was disappointed that we were not allowed to use the parking space in front of the property just as she has shown online, but it’s a deceiving. Guest can’t use it. It’s very difficult to find a parking on the main street. We found it very selfish that guests can’t use it, even though the parking was empty

The property was clean and basic. Allison was very welcoming and friendly. Room had tea making facilities and a fridge and was quiet.
The location. The property is mid way between Norbury and Thornton Heath stations. A little too far to walk with a suitcase in tow. I got An Uber for £5 which was reasonable. The home is on a council estate and feels a little unsafe (I know the area well and wouldn’t walk around there after dark alone) Again Uber was useful for getting around.
Alison was very welcoming on my arrival, and all of her messages were timely & relevant. The room was large and included a fridge (with small freezer space), desk & chair, and spare bedding/pillows. Nice large windows with a garden view. I was able to use the kitchen where cutlery/crockery was provided. As a lone female, I felt safe in the area and was happy to walk around the locality. It's around a 10 minute or so walk to the town centre which has a fair-sized Tesco.
I would highly recommend Alison's place to others.

We had such a fantastic time in London and a lot of that was to do with our stay here. Fantastic location, beautiful home and incredibly kind people. We will definitely be booking here again next time we're in London
Lovely home situated in a quiet residential place. Trains and buses into East and West Croydon available and within 10-15 minutes walk. Central shopping area and Thornton Heath Recreation Ground are within easy walking distance. Lovely comfortable room with view to garden. Everything is clean and tidy. Welcoming hosts and accommodating.... it is like a "home away from home."
Cleanliness of the property and facilities, and also the good smell in the property.
The heating. The heater was off most of the time and not too warm when on. Also, not much was made available for breakfast.

Location is away from the hustle and bustle of central Thornton Heath and yet within easy reach to local buses to East Croydon‚ to local shops and close to all local amenities and parks. Extremely kind and welcoming host. Lovely home situated in a quiet suburban area. Clean‚ tidy and cosy just like you would find in a family home. Comfortable bedroom‚ small selection of teas/coffees available as well as a kettle in the bedroom.
