Discrepancy Between Advertised and Actual Room

The hotel is nicely located, very clean and the service personnel professional. In Restaurant, SPA or cleaning service very kind/willing and well trained foreign stuff. German isn't particularly their strength but all I've met spoke english.

Cons:

The offer and pictures on the hotel’s website did not match what I actually received. I booked a superior room with extra space, as shown in the photos, and paid an additional €400 for it. However, the room I was given was clearly a standard one, based on a comparison between the promotional images and the actual room.What was most frustrating is that I received neither an apology nor any form of compensation. After I complained, I was simply told, “Next time, book through our website.” It seems that customers who book through this portal are treated as second-class guests by the hotel management. The way the rooms are presented online feels deliberately misleading and focused solely on maximizing profit.In addition, I had to call maintenance several times for a non-functioning TV, a loose toilet seat, and a loose tap. For a so-called superior room at this price, the overall condition and size were disappointing. The minibar didn’t cool properly, the curtains were unpressed and so long they dragged on the floor, and other smaller issues just added to the frustration. I eventually stopped reporting problems to avoid feeling like an unwelcome intruder.Long story short, this was my first and definitely my last stay at this hotel.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit Bergblick, tolles Spa-Angebot und freundliches Personal. Es gab sogar kostenlosen Kuchenbuffet nachmittags.

Cons:

Die Saunen waren nur bis 19 Uhr geöffnet, das hätte etwas länger sein können.

Schöner Kurzurlaub
Pros:

Freundlicher Empfang, sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück, der frisch gepresste Orangensaft war der Hammer, sehr bequeme Betten, in ca fünf Minuten in Garmisch, der Wellnessbereich herrlich.
