The hotel itself and the room is nice, very close to the beach, right in front of it. Staff were nice, especially the operational guide, he showed us the island and was very friendly the whole stay, many thanks

Cons:

There is no changing room or shower on the beach, and you need to get up early to have a place for the sunbed. Breakfasts were not so good, milk for the coffee is extra charge for some reason. I would stay in some cheaper place next time perhaps

If location matters to you, Ranthari is hard to beat. It’s just steps from the bikini beach and an easy walk to scuba diving and water sports — absolutely ideal for anyone coming to Ukulhas for the ocean.

Breakfast was very good each morning, with fresh options and plenty to start the day. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay.

Ukulhas itself is a fantastic island — it strikes a great balance between tourism and authentic local life. It feels welcoming without being overwhelming, and the locals genuinely seem to want visitors to enjoy their island.

Overall, this is a well-run hotel in one of the best locations on the island. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

The rooftop pool is a great feature, especially at sunset. The only suggestion for improvement would be adding some shaded areas, as it’s difficult to enjoy during the daytime without protection from the sun.

Just perfect. Top beachside location, with beautiful view from the room. Very helpful staff, giving us all instructions needed. Food was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back for sure

Výborná poloha (v podstate na pláži s vlastnými lehátkami, na ostrove asi najlepšia), čistota (denné upratovanie a výmena uterákov), personál (všetci boli milí, usmievaví a ochotní), dostatočné raňajky a kvalitná kuchyňa (čo sa kvality a chuti týka).

Cons:

Zlá organizácia v kuchyni (často sa na jedlo čakalo aj hodinu!, objednávky sa vybavovali postupne a nikoho evidentne nenapadlo rozdeliť prácu v kuchyni zmysluplnejšie, takže aj na studený šalát /melón s feta syrom, hotový za tri minúty, sme čakali 40 min!!!/

Hervorzuheben ist das gesamte Personal - immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Zimmer war groß, wurde täglich gereinigt und die Betten waren sehr bequem.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich - für jeden Gast etwas dabei. Man konnte entweder innen oder auch am Strand das Frühstück genießen.
Super fand ich, dass man den ganzen Tag Tee, Kaffee und Wasser bekommt. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, hat einen eigenen Liegebereich und man bekommt täglich frische Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt.
Leider gibt es nicht ausreichent Strandliegen und man muss diese zeitig "reservieren"

Cons:

Die Dachterasse mit Pool wird leider sehr vernachlässigt - keine bzw. kaputte Liegen.
Im Zimmer gibt es fast keinen Stauraum für Gewand, Koffer, etc. und auch keine Möglichkeit seine nassen Strandsachen aufzuhängen. Wir haben den Fernseher verwendet, da dieser eh' nicht funktioniert hat ;-)
Leider hat auf der Insel auch die Verbauung/Zerstörung der Natur voll zugeschlagen und links und rechts vom Hotel stehen riesige Rohbauten, welche auf den Bildern auf Booking nicht ersichtlich sind :-(

Great relaxing vacation.
Pros:

The location is great.
Staff and Managers are helpful.
The restaurant is good, but the menu is small. If one informs about dietary restrictions, kitchen staff will do their best.
The swimming pool is good.
Free towels for the beach and sunbeds.
Snorkeling equipment is free.

Staff will book and prepay speed boats to and from the island.

As it is an island where local lives there are a lot of staff to explore and the city has a medical center.

Trees are making great Shadow from the sun in the beach area.

Split swimsuits are okay on the beach and swimming areas, but you beed to put your clothes on when you are leaving it.

The service is awesome.

Cons:

The room had issues, but everything was fixed when the manager was told.
Water is not that deep to swim, you need to go around a bit to get some depth not to cut your self on with rocks (it is not hotel issue, just FYI)

Another FYI, the whole Island is a construction site: hotels, road are being built now. But they are not that disturbing, just will mess up your perfect Instagram photos of the island.

If you are not into fishing or hardcore snorkeling it can be boring after 4-5 days.

The beach needs a shower and stairs.

There are no light switches near the bed.
