Very pleasant.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent, since I was reading in the University Library. I was grateful to the porter who found me a room which did avoided a lot of stairs. I like the garden, though it would have been better if it hadn't been so dry!

Cons:

The shower didn't work.

A really immersive "Cambridge experience"
Pros:

The facility is strategically located, extremely clean, well managed and maintained. It is a university student accomodation, which has the plus of offering a really immersive "Cambridge experience": you sleep in a dorm, you have breakfast in the canteen, you have common spaces, you are in the heart of Cambridge. Our room was way more spacious than a standard hotel room. The shower was really practical. A nice common balcony was also a plus.

Cons:

The facility was not designed to provide a "hotel" experience. There is no air conditioning, and our bed was not king size. Also, you can hear noise from other rooms when people open or close their doors or walk up or down the stairs etc. There is no particular sound protection. However, all students and guests were very quiet and respectful while we were there, and we did our best to be equally silent.

A treat to stay in an iconic building.
Pros:

Wonderful to be able to experience the interior of the brutalist-style 1960s architecture by Patrick Hodgkinson. Excellent location, within easy walking distance to the centre of Cambridge. Delicious and plentiful breakfast.

Cons:

Parking has to be booked and paid for separately.

Brilliant. Couldn’t have been better.

Pros:

The room is bigger than usual, the facilities beyond the price. It is a very good choice for business trip.

Cons:

On the work day ,the breakfast restaurant is very far, at least walking 15 min. It’s not friendly for someone who didn’t drive.

Great location for the value as a solo traveler. Easily walked to Cambridge center.

Good for student travellers.
Pros:

The place is good for a single person, and very close to the city center. The bus stops are very close and ideal for traveling to the west university side or towards the railway station. I would likely recommend it for student travellers.

Cons:

The toilet flush was very hard to work.
The breakfast did not have much vegetarian options.
