Clean room
Hospitality is maintained and hotel is hygienic. This is better than most of the hotels in Georgetown, food is decent ish.

The hotel would have been great despite a couple of things. First, service was excellent for the most part. However, the service in the bar and restaurant (upstairs and downstairs) was subpar.
Everything about the hotel was overpriced, same with Giraffe Cafe’, but I could deal with it. The price is the price.
That said, it felt very much dishonest with the way they converted my US dollars. And the rooftop bar was running what amounted to a scam when serving drinks.

The hotel staffs were friendly and pleasant. We enjoy the rooftop restaurant and the food. The main level restaurant was very cold for me but others may prefer it.

Best Western by Aiden in Georgetown, Guyana was an oasis of NYC in the middle of Georgetown Guyana. I went on a multigenerational trip to Guyana and they took care of my entire family. Their warmth and hospitality was quite welcome. Chef Garfield was kind and attentive, and they offered both standard fare as well as a taste of local dishes. We only wished we were staying in Guyana longer.

Nice Hotel, But Overpriced!!
The hotel itself is clean and the service is excellent, no complaints there. But at $456 USD per night, the value just doesn't match the price. I looked out my window and saw a group of guys with motorcycles in what felt like the hood. One of them was revving his engine nonstop late into the night. I honestly couldn’t believe I was paying those rates for that kind of noise and view.
And the food?.... I paid $38 USD for a plate of spaghetti bolognese. Thirty-eight! For pasta! At this point, I wasn’t sure if I was staying at a hotel or being pranked by a Michelin starred illusion.
Bottom line...great staff, clean rooms, but the pricing is outrageous, and the surroundings don’t justify the cost.

Everyone’s ID
I was traveling with my 85 year old father and we needed to check in a few days earlier than anticipated. The staff were incredibly helpful and found us the best possible room to make him comfortable and safe. The disabled bathroom was the best we had seen in Georgetown and staff provided us with additional options to keep my father as safe as possible. Would definitely stay again.
