Kamer is relatief klein maar voorzien van alle gemakken.
Ligging aan een doorgaande weg zonder parkeer of stop mogelijkheid om bagage uit te laden is lastig omdat het doorgaande verkeer inclusief vrachtwagens door raast en dat tot gevaarlijke situaties kan leiden.
Ook het pad achter naar de kabeltram zou beter verlicht moeten zijn.
De locatie, vlak bij de bergkabelbaan. Je staat zo in het centrum van Bilbao

La proximité avec le funiculaire, proche de la ville mais à l'écart
Titre trompeur : il n’y a aucune vue depuis la chambre 24. Nous étions directement face au passage menant à l’entrée ainsi qu’à un mur, avec très peu de lumière naturelle. Impossible de laisser la fenêtre ouverte sans perdre toute intimité. Le propriétaire nous a d’ailleurs conseillé de garder les volets fermés.
La qualité du linge est également décevante : draps et serviettes sont de qualité médiocre. Par ailleurs, une odeur de produit chimique extrêmement forte imprégnait la chambre, au point que nous avions du mal à respirer.
Le principal problème a toutefois été la salle de bain. La douche était bouchée et il était impossible de se doucher correctement. J’ai dû retirer moi-même des cheveux laissés par un précédent client. Même si une intervention a ensuite été faite rapidement, le pommeau de douche était cassé. Le lavabo est minuscule, davantage comparable à un lave-mains qu’à un véritable lavabo de salle de bain. Le sol de la douche est très glissant et il n’y a pratiquement aucun espace pour poser ses affaires de toilette.
L’appartement dispose bien d’un réfrigérateur, ce qui est appréciable, ainsi que d’un mini-four et de quelques ustensiles de cuisine. En revanche, il n’y a aucun évier pour laver les bols et les couverts : le petit lavabo de la salle de bain n’est évidemment pas adapté. De plus, aucun ménage quotidien n’est effectué et les couverts ou bols ne sont pas remplacés.
Les rénovations sont récentes, certes, mais la qualité des finitions est très moyenne. Il s’agit à l’origine d’une ancienne maison qui semble avoir été divisée en chambres avec des cloisons en placo très fines. L’isolation phonique est donc extrêmement mauvaise : nous entendions clairement les voisins.
Enfin, l’annonce mentionne un parking, mais ce n’est qu’après la réservation, par message privé, que nous avons appris qu’il fallait payer 20 € par jour. Il ne s’agit d’ailleurs pas réellement d’un parking, mais simplement de la terrasse de la maison utilisée comme stationnement.
Nos tocó una habitación con ventana al patio interior, muy tranquila, está lejos del centro pero con en funicular a dos pasos, bajas y subes sin problema (con la tarjeta de transporte, sino te dejas un dineral). Además tiene un mirador justo al lado para ver todo Bilbao.
Echamos en falta el mando de la tele que lo habían desaparecido pero por lo demás, todo perfecto.

I chose this place mainly because I was traveling by car and wanted somewhere with easy parking and convenient access in and out of Bilbao. For that purpose, it worked quite well. There are several areas nearby where you can park for free, and I didn’t have much trouble finding a space either in the evening or in the morning.
The property is outside the city and consists of a house divided into several small studio-style rooms with basic kitchen facilities. The room itself was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. The two little chocolates left in the room were also a nice touch.
Getting into Bilbao is surprisingly convenient. The funicular takes you directly down toward the city center, and from there you can walk to Casco Viejo quite easily and to the Guggenheim Museum in around 15–20 minutes. The return trip on the funicular costs around €6. There is also a beautiful viewpoint nearby overlooking Bilbao.
The main downside is the location if you need anything nearby. There are no shops within easy reach, and the cafés around the area were closed when I was there, so it’s better to buy anything you might need before arriving.
I also would have appreciated some basic feminine hygiene products in the room.

Great location, right behind us is the park and funicular. Great thoughtful staff who provided our dog with a dog bed and bowls. Comfortable bed and well equipped with kettle and a fridge. We paid for parking, and they have a charger for our EV. Otherwise, I believe you can park at the park behind the property.

Anche se fuori città la posizione vicino alla funicolare la rendeva molto comoda.
Il personale non parla inglese o francese. La pulizia è pessima. Il pavimento appiccicoso, il tavolino interno pieno di polvere, il porta asciugamani di stoffa con una macchia gialla enorme, il terrazzo molto sporco e il cortile in stato di abbandono. Il rubinetto del lavandino staccato e la doccia senza un minimo di protezione.
Nous avons aimé l emplacement au calme et accessible par le funiculaire pour se rendre à Bilbao.
Nous avons été très bien reçu et l hôtesse a été très charmante et serviable.
Lage nahe der Bergbahn Richtung Bilbao.
Parken bei der Ankunft schwierig. Parkplatz nahe Bergbahn ist allerdings gute Lösung.
Habitación cómoda con baño un poco pequeño
The location was incredibly dramatic, one house away from the top of the funicular. The room was spotless and had great air conditioning on a day it was really needed. The bottom of the funicular leaves you right near anything you would want to see in Bilbao. I Ioved my stay.
There are two rooms on the ground floor with no view whatsoever, so make sure you know which room you're getting. Also, food options at the top of the funicular are limited and some days non existent past 6pm, make sure you bring food with you if you don't want to descend for dinner. They have microwaves and dishes, and there is a well stocked supermarket at the bottom of the funicular, so I was able to manage.
