Know what your getting.
Pros:

I booked the property a while ago. The day i was due to check in i checked the details and noticed there had been a couple of alarming reviews so i messaged the property and gotba whatsapp back to say there was a burst pipe & they needed to move me to another property. This sounded sinilar yo other review so was very worried. I eventually accepted as i thought i shpuld atleast see the place. The guy was pleasant & he let to his word in the sesnse that the property we were given was as the pictures. It was clean and comfortable. However, google tells me the original property hasnt been built yet. The new location was district 1 but only just, which meant all tours we did wouldnt pick us up. As traffic is bad it was a hassle. In addition in the front reception, we were brought in the back of property there is a big sign saying short lets are not allowed by law, which felt worrying. It was obviously residential & using pool for example felt awkward as clearly residents there after work, so it was hard with our kids.

That all being said the guy let us check out an hour late, he offered room cleaning every other day and was very responsive on whatsapp.

If it was clear where we were staying in advance, telling us not built yet we would have understood. The last minute element made me feel concerned we were being tricked somehow.

SCAM, hotel doesn’t exist
Pros:

SCAM! Do not book! The airport shuttle driver upon pickup said the hotel was over booked and took us to a different hotel. There was no front desk, we were brought into through a back door, and then instructed we had to call the shuttle driver in order to use the pool or amenities in the hotel. Immediate red flags! We tried to call original hotel and couldn’t get an answer, our party left and asked for a refund, the driver said he will ask his manager. It was all very sketchy, driver didn’t speak any English and used a translator app, and then tried to charge us money for the airport shuttle when we left. We decided the next day to go to the orig hotel to inspect, it’s not even built, a construction site! Had to ask cc company for a refund, total scam! Disappointed in hotels.com for allowing this type of business in their site.
