Super hôtel mais attention le parc aquatique n’est pas inclus

Le service via le personnel est exceptionnel

Attention: le parc aquatique n’est pas compris dans la réservation ce qui est injuste et pas expliqué clairement. Le parc est cher en plus

Soggiorno stupendo nel periodo natalizio
Pros:

Abbiamo soggiornato qui dal 21 dicembre al 5 gennaio quindi periodo altissima stagione e festivo. La proprietà Vidanta è enorme e l'hotel Jungala è solo uno degli alberghi presenti e si trova in posizione più interna rispetto alle altre altre strutture. La stanza è enorme e ben fornita dal punto di vista degli elettrodomestici, della cucina, delle amenities del bagno e dell'arredamento in generale. Le stanze sono vista palme della giungla circostante ed è molto bello sentire i rumori degli uccelli e degli animaletti circostanti. La struttura infatti è circondata di natura, curata e rigogliosa. Il personale è sempre pronto ad aiutare e a soddisfare le richieste. Anche sui soggiorni lunghi come il nostro è impossibile annoiarsi data la vastità del luogo e la possibilità di arrivare a Playa o Cancun in tempi relativamente brevi. Noi avevamo affittato la macchina ed è stato comodissimo.
Le piscine della struttura sono numerose e variegate così come i ristoranti.
Gli ospiti del Jungala sono privilegiati in diversi modi:
-godono di un trasporto interno personalizzato con golf car on request, quindi non devono usare a meno che non vogliano, quelle collettive che spostano il resto degli ospiti su percorsi prestabiliti.
-possono utilizzare liberamente tutte le piscine presenti in struttura incluso il beach club che è il più gettonato e la mattina ha file chilometriche ancora prima dell'apertura. Gli ospiti jungala hanno una fila preferenziale.
Carino, ma valido per massimo una giornata perchè poi diventa noioso, il parco acquatico.
Fenomenale il Cirque du soleil. Comodo il servizio in camera super esteso dal punto di vista del menù e degli orari. Una menzione specialissima a Nathan e Elmo del beach club, grazie per i vostri sorrisi e la vostra presenza calorosa ma mai eccessiva, grazie a tutta la reception in particolare Marco, grazie ai driver delle golf car sempre gentilissimi. Ottima colazione al Green Break.

Cons:

Il reparto housekeeping ha diverse pecche. Quando siamo arrivati era tardi la sera (11.30 pm) e il letto di mia figlia non era stato fatto. Il ripasso serale a volte veniva saltato e dato che il terzo letto veniva fatto e disfatto ogni giorno, ci siamo trovati senza terzo letto pronto per mia figlia diverse sere e abbiamo dovuto chiamare la reception.
La pulizia della stanza è stata altalenante, a volte accurata a volte un po' meno. Ho dovuto chiedere che venisse fatta meglio la polvere.
La spiaggia purtroppo, ma lo sapevamo, è brutta e rocciosa. Nessuno fa il bagno in mare.
La modalità di contatto con il personale di reception, oltre a quella diretta, è via chat whatsapp e per quanto questo sia molto comodo su alcuni aspetti, a volte il fatto che diversi addetti scrivessero contemporanamente, faceva sì che le richieste si disperdessero.
Ad esempio se si effettuava la richiesta di una prenotazione ristorante, una persona rispondeva che se ne sarebbe occupata e gli altri giustamente se ne disinteressavano pensando che fosse stata presa in carico, in verità magari quel receptionist finiva il turno e la richiesta rimaneva inesitata. Ma è successo poche volte.

La piscine et la plage sont incroyables !
La chambre grandiose mais dommage de dormir sur un canapé lit quand on est une famille de 4 dans une suite.
Nous avons l’accès au Jungala Park et ça c’est un gros plus ! Idéal pour les enfants.

Cons:

L’accueil n’était pas le meilleur, aucune présentation du domaine. Il faut prendre une navette pour aller à la plage et piscine, c’est le seul point un peu embêtant. Pas d’accès direct à la chambre.

I would have preferred being closer to the beach and not overlooking a water park. We could not get reservations at the restaurants even though we requested them via the concierge and by visiting the restaurants. The concierge did not respond or did not respond immediately to our requests on What’s App. We had to seek them out in person.

Cons:

meus amigos estavam no outro quarto ganharam um kit de amenidades que eu não ganhei, com balm labial e outras coisas.

alem disso tive que pedir porque não tinha no nosso quarto sabonete liquido em nenhum dos dois banheiros.

o ano novo você paga caro por um drink que nao podia escolher, e tinha que ficar em pé. Mesmo nos que estávamos com crianças queria que ficasse no frio e no chuvisco.

Brilliant family holiday. Would definitely return.
Pros:

The service is excellent. The staff are so warm and could not do enough for you. Our kids loved the water park on site. The food was really good with lots of options. We had a one bed suite for a family of 5 and it was the best laid out room we’ve ever stayed as a family. So spacious.

Not worth it. Stay at another hotel
Pros:

The rooms were nice. Had a lot of amenities. Would be good for a family to stay. Water park and Cirque Du Soleil show were the only good parts-the kids enjoyed it.

Cons:

Poor communication between hotels/restaurant/concierge on the Vidanta Property. For instance, I reserved transportation to airport and no one knew so I got to the main lobby and was told I don’t have a “ticket.” I was never told I needed a ticket or given one. Even after I showed staff receipt of payment, they didn’t believe me. It took additional 30 min to just clarify this and for the staff at Jungala hotel to bring the “ticket” to main lobby. Why couldn’t this be communicated electronically? Same issue with other bookings- same level of confusion

also this property is extremely large. The beach was very far away. There is an entrance directly to water park from this hotel but it’s closed. Water park and the Cirque Du Soleil show were the only features we really enjoyed. Everything else sucked. Food sucked. Every restaurant was booked. Overall just a very disappointing experience and not with the high 9.4

Groot maar niet te massaal.
Pros:

Prachtig in het groen. Conciërge service en golfkar shuttles, alles goed geregeld. Alles prachtig aangelegd en doordacht.

Cons:

Gebouwen beetje oud. Putje liep niet door. Schilderwerk sleets. Buffet ontbijt in grootste restaurant beetje smoetzig. Constant herrie door entertainment bij main pool.

Its a nice hotel, and the staff are pretty helpful but we found our overall stay disappointing for a number of reasons. We booked because of the waterpark but our 2 year old was not allowed on a single slide, not even if we held him on the baby slide at the waterpark for babies. I’ve never been to a waterpark that strict. He got so upset that he wasn't allowed on anything, we left. The website boasts 20 restaurants, but for dinner we had 2 to choose from. Worst was the value. It cost almost $1000 cad a night, while its nice, its not that nice. And the food and drinks were all overpriced. They weren’t terrible but I’ve had $200 steak, that wasn’t it. The salmon sushi still had a bone in it, that shouldn't happen at a fancy restaurant. We paid for a week and even though we were told we wouldn’t get a refund, we left after 3 days and went and stayed at an all inclusive in Cancun were the food was just as good and the selection was better. I didn't want to waste a whole week there, I would rather pay for 2 vacations.
