Pros:

Fantastic renovation to this historic building/hotel. The finishes in the rooms give a nod to the past. Bed was very comfortable & the bathroom is stunning!! Had breakfast in Shirley’s the hotel’s dining room, and the food was delicious ! Service was friendly & exuded Southern Hospitality. Chef mad a stop by my table.
Highly recommend Hotel Petersburg.

Great place to stay!
Pros:

Beautiful, updated and great gathering relaxing areas all throughout the hotel. The food and cocktails were delicious!

Cons:

The check in process was unorganized, but the staff were very helpful in straightening it out.

Beautifully restored historic hotel in the heart of the historic district.

Cons:

Parking was not ideal. Public parking was a block away so valet was the best option. Restaurant on site had very limited options for breakfast.

Nice facility but the cons outweigh the pros.
Pros:

The property was clean, the room was big with a huge comfortable bed.

Cons:

The location was sketchy, the parking was too far away to walk in the dark with luggage unless you pay for valet parking. There wasn’t enough amenities for the price of the hotel. The bathroom was out of body wash. Which led me to believe that housekeeping doesn’t pay attention to detail. The front desk did send a bottle right up when we called.

Cons:

We think our room should have had two chairs to sit on to watch TV. We always watch the PBS News Hour on TV, but we couldn't find the right channel. We would have appreciated some form of TV guide
