Beautiful property with great staff
Pros:

- 5 mins to airport
- clean, beautiful rooms with a luxurious appeal
- good ambience
- toiletries like tooth brush, paste included which is not typically provided even in more expensive places like Hiltons in the US
- quick room service available for food
- helpful staff
- complimentary airport pickup
- accept card payments, including amex
- Great breakfast included

Cons:

- slow communication for requests made through booking.com
- check in experience was not smooth. Had to argue for 30 mins for a separate room because i was given a room with a smaller bed that i didn’t book. Also was asked to pay 1,000 extra for an upgraded room, which i declined
- No elevator (but they do help you with your luggage)
- The bathroom drains had some weird smell

Pros:

Das Personal war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir konnten sogar kostenlos unser Gepäck wo wir für die Lukla-Reise nicht benötigten im Hotel lagern. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker.

Cons:

Bei der Abholung war es sehr schwierig unseren Fahrer zu finden, da er der einzige war der keine Schild mit unseren Namen hatte. Leider hatten wir am ersten Abend kein warm Wasser. Leider war in der Nacht im Gang immer wieder ein riesen Lärm, obwohl wir dann an der Reception angerufen haben und der Mitarbeiter die weiteren Gäste um Ruhe bittete, wurde es nicht besser.

No hot water here
Pros:

Can walk to the airport

Cons:

They have no hot water in the shower.
We were asked to turn the tap and wait for 5 minutes. 10 minutes after still no hot water.

It’s not acceptable for a hotel to not fulfill a basic requirement and not inform of a problem in advance. We could have booked any other hotel. There are plenty in the area.

This is a great hotel all around!
Pros:

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Room was truly clean, and classy - with no ugly or tacky furnishings or art. Just a lot of clean white. This is a hotel that knows how to take care of its guests and what they need in a room, all at a very agreeable price point. The free breakfast was darn good. I did have a kind of freak problem, which will not bother to describe here, but the manager was very apologetic and very helpful in making up for it. If you need a place to stay by the airport, book this place!

Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Bayberry Kathmandu. The room was large and spacious, which we appreciated, although the style felt a bit old-fashioned. Unfortunately, the room was also quite noisy.

We had dinner at the hotel and it was okay overall. However, the breakfast was disappointing and could definitely be improved in terms of quality and organization.

Overall, it can be convenient for a stay close to the airport, but there are some aspects that would benefit from renovation and better service.

Cons:

The bathroom could be improved, as there was no proper shower curtain or separation, so water ended up everywhere after taking a shower.

Super comfortably stopover - felt like a vegas strip hotel room
Pros:

Amazing gem of a hotel. Room was massive and the staff were amazing. Food was exceptional and an added bonus was the complimentary pick up from the airport.
