Great location near the old town but a steep hill up to the hotel

unexpected find we chose as a overight stopover. Lots of scenery and place to ear just down the hil

The little inn itself is very authentic and charming, situated next to an old castle and a short walk down a hill to a vireity of restaurants and shop siutated on Lake Annecy. Very nice stop on our tour. We had an early start the next day so did not get to try the breakfast. Room was clean

Cons:

Maybe a little map to explain the parking situation would have been helpful. Turns out the closest parking lot (open air) is low costs during the day and free overnight as long as you enter before 6 pm and pay for the remaining daytime hours. Further down the hill is a large parking garage which is ore expensive.

A hidden gem overlooking Annecy
Pros:

This was the perfect place to stay to experience Annecy. The views from my room over the town and the castle were simply spectacular. The hotel terrace was also panoramic and beautifully maintained with chairs and tables, umbrellas, flowers. I frequently found myself bringing meals or drinks back to the terrace to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere away from the streets busy with tourists below. You can also use the terrace for their very nice breakfast buffet. Everything about the hotel – all the little details of the rooms and the common places – were thoughtful and full of character. If you can do the climb up the castle hill, then it is certainly worth the effort to stay somewhere like this!

Underbart hotell och trevlig och hjälpsam personal!
Pros:

Så mysigt hotell på en kulle mitt i Gamla stan och med bekvämt promenadavstånd till tågstationen men också Annecysjön för bad!

Cons:

Rummet var litet och blev väldigt varmt så golvfläkten hjälpte föga.
