Grand Star Hotel

The room was extremely cramped and the furniture and fittings appeared very old and poorly maintained. The curtains were hanging halfway off the railings, which reflected a lack of upkeep.
The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and the layout made it very difficult to sit comfortably on the toilet bowl as it was cramped against the sink.
Additionally, the bedsheets provided were stained. When I requested a replacement, the new sheet given was also stained, which was unacceptable.
There was no phone in the room to contact reception, and I was forced to climb up and down multiple times to make requests in person, causing significant inconvenience.

For the first time I got a hotel room with one lost window. It's the family room at the upper floor. They just sealed it with a slightly thick wallpaper, but the sound proof is horrendous. You can see the white paper from outside. Even the wall had bad sound proof already. I can hear people outside doinf their things. Dirty drawers and old, tough stains on the pillowcase. All the furnitures are older than my grandma, and there are garbages from decades ago in those drawers. Heater in bathroom sometimes worked sometimes didn't, had to switch it on and off several times. that's the worst RM311 I've spent in this year, for 2 nights and they said no other room available to change. If your room is this TERRIBLE, better DON'T rent it out!!

The bed and chair has bugs, our thighs / legs are being bitten even for a day and a night. Aircon is no aircon. Only fan. 2nd flr is high for us and so much noise from a group of malay family. Screaming, shouting and keep knocking at door.

But the toilet push shower was not good. When using it, the body would get wet a lot.
And I would definitely recommend the push shower, it is important for all push showers to have a hand controller.

There aren't any locks on doors. This included the front door and room doors which means anyone could come in if they wanted to. The rooms had a very musty smell and the bathrooms left much to be desired.
