Convenient but noisy locations. staff was nice.
Pros:

Convenience, close to restaurants stores and the Duomo cathedral. Good breakfast buffett.

Cons:

Air conditioning wasn’t operating so we had to open the windows and it was very noisy late at night with people taking and yelling and very early in the morning there were garbage and delivery trucks right in front of the hotel operating.

Charming boutique hotel in the heart of Florence. Perfect!
Pros:

Wonderful small boutique hotel right in the heart of the historic district of Florence. We were 2 blocks from the Duomo but, our street was peaceful and uncrowded.
Best things
1. Huge room with large wooden double windows which let in great sunlight and air and closed to keep all noise out.
2. Wonderful helpful staff at the desk, breakfast room, and house keepers.
3. Comfortable King size bed with soft linens.
4. Super clean and comfortable in room and all other areas.
5. Elevator
6. Coffee and tea self-serve available 24 hours, and a garden area to enjoy them.
7. Prosecco and water availability self-service all afternoon-evening.
8. Breakfast buffet with fresh hot and cold selection. Loved the Mellon and prosciutto!
On Easter Sunday, the staff left at our room, an Italian chocolate Easter egg and a personal note thanking us for spending Easter with them.
I would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Superb breakfast, 10/10 cleanliness, and an unbeatable location—simply amazing
Pros:

Staying at Il Guelfo Bianco felt like discovering a well-kept secret in the heart of Florence. The hotel is a masterclass in design—beautifully curated, sophisticated, and surprisingly calm despite being just steps away from the majestic Medici Riccardi Palace.

We were perfectly positioned to walk to every historical landmark, but some of our favorite moments were actually right around the corner, exploring the incredible variety of local restaurants. The breakfast was a daily highlight; the variety was superb and catered to every craving. Above all, the cleanliness was a flawless 10/10. We’ve already decided: when we return to Florence, this is the only place we’ll be staying.
