The Anchor Motel

Great small property with an excellent view of the ocean. We would go back if visiting this area!

From the porch, the beach was blocked from view by the roadside sea grass (itself a pretty view) but the ocean beyond is spectacularly in view and it will lull you to sleep all night with the window open. A literal 150 step walk across the street and down through a short sand path opens up a whole beautiful sandy beach where I took long strolls back and forth for hours.

Great one night stay at the annex property next to main motel. Convenient access to everything only a short drive. Walkable to the beach across. Close by nice shore fishing spots and nice hiking trails.

Booked this last minute for a road trip and was so happy we did. Cute little motel that is steps from a lovely beach. You can see the ocean from your own little front porch. Very nice!

The place was great with great beach access and easy parking. Owners were awesome and helpful. They have everything u need for the beach. 5 star.

Excellent stay, small and personal

Great location!

Rooms are rather small but clean. Location is excellent - just across the street from the beautiful, not crowded beach. Beach with a lifeguard (which is important to me since I travel with small kids) is just steps away. A short drive to seafood restaurants and such. We will sure return.

All around, great family trip. Perfect location. We'll be back next year!

Very clean rooms and pleasant decor. Conveniently located at Scarborough Beach. A quiet and safe location to stay. Need a coffee maker in the room. Would recommend this establishment.

If i was going to critique, its my personal preference, I prefer white towels :) so, if that is the only critique I can give, i would 100% stay here again!

Love the location of the Anchor Motel, having the beach across the street was so pretty, thankfully the weather cleared, and we were able to explore all of Narragansett and Block Island
