Disappointed about the condition of pool & gym

Rude man when I arrived. Shouting at me in Vietnamese, haven’t got a clue what he was saying. He used his phone to translate and tell me he wanted cash now, I hadn’t got any. Not helpful on finding ATM machine, it was late by this time, not a good greeting. He took my passport and said I couldn’t have it back until I paid, no card, only cash. No help the next day, when I finally managed to find an ATM the girl gave me the bill, I paid it and then she was saying it was wrong, which it turned out not to be. No one hardly ever in the reception desk, you call and no reply. I wouldn’t say the staff are helpful or the best.

Swimming pool looked unclean.

I stayed 9 nights and they cleaned a room only TWICE! This is so much about the service in Vietnam in general.. you have to chase them to get the towels changed for example m.

Difficile de trouver un supermarche.
Lideur dr moisissure dans les couloirs et l'humidité qui s'imbibe partout, très désagréable., tout reste mouillé.

The building is old, elevators are slow, it looks nothing like the pictures. Highly do NOT recommend for a family of 3+.

I could have given this hotel 8 out of 10, but there are major issues with housekeeping.
Our apartment was very dirty. The kitchen walls were smeared with something unidentifiable. Couldn’t they just wash them? It’s paint, not wallpaper.
During our 5-night stay, the room was cleaned only once — on the last day. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering it’s a coastal city and sand constantly gets tracked into the room.
Overall, the hotel feels worn out. Our bedroom windows faced a wall with air-conditioning units. Because of that, the window was double-glazed to reduce noise, but it also doesn’t open. So the bedroom can’t really be ventilated. We were shown the room before check-in, but no one warned us that the window couldn’t be opened, and that’s not an obvious detail.

J’ai eu la même chambre que sur les photos mais sans les équipements, des meubles ont été enlevés. Sur les photos nous avions tables chaises tous aménagés une fois arrivé plus rien. La cuisine sentait le vieux, presque aucun matériel pour cuisiner, le nettoyage de cette partie était limite. De plus on a été harcelé et menacer de contacter la police, car sur le site est préciser que le paiement par carte est possible, mais à l’arrivé finalement non. On laisse notre passeport en attendant que leurs problèmes soit réglé mais finalement ils nous harcèle tous les jours pour qu’on aille retirer de l’argent, tous les jours leurs versions changes.
Heureusement que le monsieur de l’accueil était sympathique. Mais la direction a clairement fait que nous mentir.

Check- in -Prozess war langwierig, unorganisiert und befremdlich....
Dass es leider immer üblicher wird, den Pass zu scannen/kopieren ( in Asien zumindest), ist schon merkwürdig, allerdings davon Fotos mit privatem Handy zu machen, ist unterirdisch....( Datenschutz!)
Kreditkartenzahlung wurde nicht akzeptiert, man verlangte SOFORTIGE Barzahlung.
Natürlich hatte ich noch keine lokale Währung, wollte diese noch am Ankunftstag tauschen und die Unterkunft bezahlen.
Widerwillig wurde mir dann nach 30 min Zugang zum Zimmer gewährt .
Innerhalb der nächsten 45 min wurde 2x an der Tür geklopft- während ich mich nach der Anreise umzog und frisch machte - man verlangte, meinen Pass einzubehalten, sofern ich nicht sofort zahlte. Ich verweigerte, meinen Pass auszuhändigen, danach drohte man damit, die Polizei zu rufen.
Habe mich in über 30 Jahren weltweiter Reisen noch nirgendwo so unter Druck gesetzt und nicht willkommen geheißen gefühlt.
Beschämend und unterirdisch!
Selbstredend, dass die Verständigung nur über Translate-Programme lief, da das Personal offensichtlich kein/kaum Englisch sprach.

Das Zimmer selbst war niemals 35qm groß wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, eher 25qm- maximal.
Es war recht abgewohnt, u.a. war die Duschstangen- Befestigung lose, Zimmerreinigung fand 2x statt während des Aufenthalts von 6 Nächten- und das nur auf vehemente Nachfrage. "Zuteilung" von Toilettenpapier war mager, aber das sollte ein kleineres Problem sein....😉

Ich adressierte die katastrophalen Check-In Zustände zusammen mit der Abweichung der Zimmergröße schriftlich an den Manager des Hotels. Ich bekam zwar eine (halbherzige) Entschuldigung, man war aber nicht bereit, mir aufgrund der falschen- zu kleinen!- Zimmergröße etwas vom Preis zurückzuerstatten.
Werde diesbezüglich booking.com einschalten.

Insgesamt ein Hotel, welches sich mit hochtrabendem Namen schmückt, im Service-Ablauf und bei der Zimmerausstattung aber in einer unteren Liga spielt.

It needs maintenance, especially bathroom. Leaking sink. Torn shower hose. Missing sockets/light bulbs.
Also a bigger table in the kitchen would be better. I was considering staying there for workation, but that table is to small
