If I ever come again to Kyoto, I will stay here
Pros:

I travel a lot and this was one of the best hotels I stayed in in the last few years. It was clearly designed by someone with a lot of common sense as they took advantage of all the weirdness surrounding having a small plot of land in Kyoto to design a fully functional hotel. The rooms were not only clean but also comfortable (if small - but that's the Japanese standard). The location was great - Kyoto is so spread out that staying near one tourist attraction puts you super far away of everything else. This is why I opted for staying in the middle, near the subway and within walking distance of the main train station - and somehow it was very calm there.

Cons:

The rooms are small - but that it is to be expected of a hotel in Japan. The reception isn't 24h so we had to specifically arrange for someone to wait for us. But that's a tiny downside. Otherwise it was great.

Totally recommended
Pros:

Very quiet, modern and minimalist with all the amenities that you need. Very close to Kyoto central station, restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Free water, coffee, tea, umbrellas and good Japan guides. Comfy pillows. The staff were very polite and helpful. Good value for money

Cons:

Room size is a bit small but that's expected from Japan. The room and bathroom can get very hot and humid so I think that could be a problem during summer. For October it was okay

京都駅近くの心地よい落ち着く場所。
Pros:

京都駅や東本願寺から近く、このあたりには可愛いカフェやお店が多いです。◎スタッフの方がとても丁寧で親しみやすい対応でした。夜は傘も貸していただきました。ありがたかったです。◎清潔感がある美しくおしゃれな部屋でした。とても過ごしやすかったです。特にシャワールームが良かったです。シンプルな家具がとても良かったです。◎夏の京都は、なかなかホテルが見つからないのですが、素晴らしいホテルと出会えました。必ずまた利用させていただきます。

Pros:

Zentrale ruhige Lage. Kaffee und Wasser standen immer zur Verfügung. Handtücher konnte man jederzeit wechseln.
Personal war immer sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Scarsa trasparenza e chiarezza riguardo al servizio di pulizia della camera. Solo il giorno prima del check-in mi è stato comunicato che la pulizia non era inclusa nel soggiorno e che sarebbe stata disponibile esclusivamente pagando un supplemento. Queste informazioni avrebbero dovuto essere comunicate chiaramente al momento della prenotazione, avvenuta peraltro diversi mesi prima. Una semplice e-mail inviata il giorno prima del check-in non può giustificare una modifica delle condizioni inizialmente concordate al momento della prenotazione

Pros:

部屋が清潔で設備もおしゃれ。
エアコンの効きも良く快適でした。
コーヒーも美味しく、夏場だったので氷の提供は水筒に入れることができとても助かりました。
