Awesome stay. A place I would surely choose to stay again.
Pros:

Mostly it is the place where the guest house is located and how clean the rooms are. Rooms are well organized with essentials and clean. Ananda and his wife were both helpful and always there to assist. Wifi, hotwater available.

Cons:

Parking space has to be improved. There is no safe parking place. You have to struggle a bit to turn around your car.

Beautiful location, a bit further from the city center (a 7-minute drive and easily doable with a pickMe).
Just like in the photos. Beautiful rooms on the first floor. Comfortable, huge bed, nice hot shower, and very friendly owners. Great breakfast.

Cons:

Wi-Fi wasn't always good, and mobile connection (hutch) was poor. Loud prayer nearby at 5 am, so we needed tearplugs. And our bed creaked quite a bit.

Pros:

So many good things about thiis property!

The room was exactly as shown in the pictures — spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, truly going above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. There are so many thoughtful little touches that make you feel at home.

The manager’s father is an absolute sweetheart — always attentive, generous, and ready to help with anything you need.

I recommend this place 300% if you’re looking to escape the noise of the city and immerse yourself in the jungle, surrounded by tea plantations. It’s truly the right address if you want peace and authenticity.

All the main points of interest are not too far away. You just need to enjoy walking a bit — or you can easily call a tuk-tuk if you prefer.

Cons:

The only negative point I would say was our 2nd night, there was a ceremony in the temple next door all night long. May be it was a specific religious night but apart from that everything was perfect!

Pros:

Beautifully presented, friendly host who showed us some nearby sites. Best breakfast we had in SriLanka. Squeaky clean. Beautiful setting in tea plantations, near eucalypt forest.

Cons:

Liked everything. It was a little further away from Ella than 1.6 miles stated in booking.

The best.
Pros:

The best stay in Sri Lanka by far. Ananda and his wife are very lovely people and were extremely hospitable. The room is very spacious and kept brilliantly. The breakfast was great and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. Thank you so much, we wish to stay again in the future!

The nature around the accommodation, the hospitality of the owners, the facilities, breakfast - everything was great! But the kindness of the owners makes the experience even better.

Even though the property is located a bit outside of the centre of Ella, that wasn’t a problem for us because the location is so peaceful and great for restful sleep and great starting point for walk/hike. You will not regret it!
