No towels
Pros:

Good location with enough parking spots on the street. My room was just all right, I had the bunk bed. Great system for locks, really fancy and reliable.

Cons:

Nothing makes you more happy than self check-in after midnight to find out your room has absolutely no towels for you. Of course it was too late to reach the owners and of course it was too late to get one from nearby Tesco. Staff error or not, I didn't buy the story that "the guests prefer to have their own towels".

Another quirky rule is the "no shoes policy". I'd understand if all floors including rooms had carpets, but that applies only to stairs. I understand that owners most likely live in the house and prefer to limit the amount of cleaning, but still.

No Heating and Hot Water
Cons:

The heating was off and there wasn’t any hot water, so I couldn’t have a shower. When I asked the staff, they said the boiler is under maintenance, so I’m not sure when it’ll be back on.

It has been good so far, but my latest stay was very demoralising because of the noise.
